Responsibilities:

Responsible for deploying new servers for both UAT and Production environments. This role requires a strong understanding of server hardware, network connectivity, and virtualization technologies.

Deploy new PowerEdge servers for in both UAT and Production environments.

Coordinate the smooth delivery of PowerEdge servers.

Ensure DC rack readiness for server deployment.

Rack and stack servers, power up, and perform power tests.

Collaborate with the network team to ensure correct connectivity.

Install and configure new servers, including firmware, BIOS configuration, ESXi installation, and VMware cluster setup.

Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot any vSAN POD issues.

Explore, evaluate, and test solutions for the banking environment.

Maintain all current servers at customer sites, including firmware updates and break-fix support.

Document and ensure all processes are in accordance with ITSM standards.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of experience in server deployment and management.Proven experience in deploying and managing servers.

Strong knowledge of PowerEdge server hardware, firmware, and BIOS configuration.

Experience with ESXi installation and VMware cluster setup.

Familiarity with vSAN POD deployment and troubleshooting.

Expereince in PowerEdge server hardware and software, KVM, Network connectivity, ESXi & VMware, vSAN PODs.
