Responsibilities

• Perform site acceptance tests, commissioning and start-up assistance for Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives
• Interface with customers on after sales service
• Attend all maintenance related problems on site
• Work closely with sub-contractors to fulfil repair schedule
• Conduct training to enable users or customers optimizing the product performance
• Collate and maintain project pursuit reports for management’s review and action plan

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years’ service experience in a similar industry
• Sound technical knowledge in LV/MV Variable Speed Drives
• Able to handle 400V/3.3KV/6.6KV/11KV Variable Speed Drive, Switchgear and Transformer
• Familiar with Communication Protocols Ethernet/IP, Modbus and Profibus, etc.
• Independent with good planning and time management skills
• Customer oriented with good attitude

Responsibilities:

1. Project Analysis and Design:

• Analyze project requirements for industrial robotic equipment/machines
• Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for industrial automation

2. Electrical Schematic Drawings:

• Create detailed electrical schematic drawings using E3 (or ePLAN as a second
  option)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation

3. Component Selection and Procurement:

• Source and select control components based on project specifications
• Place orders for control components and coordinate with suppliers

4. Control System Setup:

• Execute control system setup, including IO system configuration, servo and step
  drive setup, and axis tuning
• Ensure the proper functioning and integration of control components

5. Technical Support:

• Provide on-site technical support during the installation and commissioning of
  robotic equipment/machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues

6. Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Emphasize compliance with Technical Construction Files (TCF) standards

Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical and control engineering roles
• Proven experience in designing and developing electrical control systems for industrial automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues

• Experience in programming motion controllers, robots, and touch panels
• Proficiency in programming PLCs, with preference given to experience with Beckhoff PLCs
