The Successful Applicant

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience in Linux and Windows system.

• Good knowledge of IIS, MS-SQL and open-source solutions like Docker containers and Kubernetes container orchestration

As Engineering Team Leader at Remote we expect you to spend around 50% of your time hands on coding, and 50% leading the team.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience leading a team of engineers.

• 10+ years’ experience working as a software engineer

• Solid knowledge and experience in Elixir and Postgres (or similar technologies)

• OR: Solid knowledge and experience in Javascript ES6 and React and familiarity with accessibility practices and semantic HTML

• Experience in dealing with ambiguity, working together with stakeholders on taking abstract concepts and turning them into working software

• Perform site supervision and co-ordination of M&E works
• Review design M&E drawings and identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, architectural and client’s provision

• Preparation of reports as required
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and relevant authorities
