Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a E&I Engineer to assist their E&I team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in South – easily accessible.

Duties of E&I Engineer:

• Review project specs to ensure equipment meets contract requirements
• Prepare and approve instrument and electrical deliverables (e.g. wiring diagrams, lists, data sheets)
• Create material requests and evaluate bids for electrical and instrument equipment
• Develop engineering standards and procedures for design
• Monitor project costs and schedules
• Attend technical meetings and address client feedback
• Support plant start-up and on-site troubleshooting
• Provide technical support and estimates to the sales team
• Advise engineers and Project Managers
• Follow company health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Engineering/ Electrical or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with key engineering concepts and practices
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently with attention to detail
• Good teamwork skills
• Knowledge of hazard area classification
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

Job Responsibilities

• Independently or with minimum supervision to carry out Design Safety Philosophies, Specifications for fire protection systems (active & passive), data sheet for firefighting systems
• Develop UFDs, PIDS for the fire protection systems and carry out Fire water/foam demand calculations (incl. Gas suppression system), and Firewater system Hydraulic check analysis
• Prepare Hazardous Area Classification Source release schedule and Drawings, Fire Zone drawings, Safety & Fire Fighting equipment layouts, Escape route drawings, Safey Signs Drawings, Firefighting Nozzle coverage shadow drawings.etc
• Participate in Process Hazard reviews and analysis including HAZOP/HAZID/SIL studies(when needed) and support in Actions close-out
• Under minimum supervision or independently, carry out the design of Active and Passive Fire Protection packages (including preparing requisitions, datasheets, TBE.etc) and PFP schedule documents
• Support in reviewing/consolidating comments and coordinating third party studies, including FERA, dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, dropped objects study, TRIA, ship collision study, QRA studies, etc. (not limited to)
• Support in TBE and vendor document reviews in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument packages on safety (including HFE) aspects
• Provide inputs, including Human Factors Engineering, for projects as required
• Interface/coordinate with other Engineering disciplines to resolve technical matters related to safety aspects
• Interact/coordinate with Designers and provide inputs for safety layout preparations for projects as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
• Minimum of 7 years of HSE Engineering experience (Process Safety/Risk Analysis/Loss Prevention Engineering) in the Oil and Gas industry
• Experience in design projects for Offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and Onshore (Refineries, LNG facilities, Storage terminals etc) is required
• Possess good knowledge of International Codes and Standards, Regulatory codes and standards (DNV/ ABS) and the ability to influence designs to achieve optimal HSE outcomes
• Familiar with plot plan reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification/ verification and other safety reviews (e.g.SIMOPS, ALARP) is preferred
• Good working knowledge of PIPENET, Flaresim and other consequence modelling software such as DNV PHAST etc is required
• The candidate should be a good team engineer and have proactive inter-discipline communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd level and up support for NOC and product team
• Provide Level 2 or 3 product and solution support
• Deployment of servers, workstations and network equipment (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Linux/UNIX Systems, Virtualization, Security and Application Management Solutions) network, endpoint and server solutions (eg, Network, Systems and Security Monitoring Systems, NGFW, IPS, IDS, SIEM, Routers, Network/Security Analysis Tools etc)

Requirements:

· Minimum a Diploma holder in IT

· Possesses at least 1 year related NOC, network/server/endpoint support experience

· Experience in IT infrastructure management tools

· An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of business and industry needs as well as the technical demands

· Recognition of the importance of customer focus and/or of serving the needs of the end user

· Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who are not technically trained

· The skill to take on a variety of tasks and pay attention to detail

· Analytical and problem-solving ability
