Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in daily site operation.

• Prepare Daily Report and submission.

• Prepare work Inspection Checklist and submission.

• Prepare materials request and arrange for delivery.

• Prepare request for fabrication.

• Receive and verify materials delivered and record GDN and DO.

• Update drawings and drawing register, receipt and issue of drawings.

• Ensure all documented records are properly filed.

• Ensure that periodic tests, inspections and maintenance work are being carried out.

• Ensure that correct procedures and system of work are being developed and maintained.

• Attend promptly to all notified plant defects or bring to the attention of the relevant Foreman the need for Dangerous plant to be put out of service.

• Manage & Comply with Workplace Safety & Health for project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of site experience in construction field is preferred.

• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for design, development, commissioning and maintenance of inhouse Ship Management System (SMS), which includes:

• Perform system and architecture design of Ship Management System (SMS).
• Perform system integration for SMS with third party systems.
• Perform, coordinate, manage and support of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to work (STW) and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT).
• Perform software configuration management and technical documentation.
• Perform hardware / software maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Overview

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth in the marine sector, promoting Gears and Services' products and services, and building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development:

• Generate new business opportunities and conduct day-to-day sales-related activities of marine-related products and services, including gearboxes and Aftermarket Pumps business for the industrial markets.
• Along with the Sales Manager, develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones within the marine sector.

2. Technical Consultation & Solution Design:

• Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure the proper solution for Gearboxes and Pumps.

3. Client Relationship Management:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on the marine sector or industrial equipment related to marine applications.
• Experience in selling complex technical products or services to the marine industry, including gearboxes, propulsion systems, or related mechanical equipment.

Technical Knowledge:
