As a Specialist, Geotechnical with a broad range of high-level technical experience, you will work closely with the structural team to design various structure especially underground MRT stations and tunnels.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Designing a variety geotechnical designs for ERSS, geotechnical and civil engineering projects, liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
- Detailed geotechnical design and analysis
- Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice
- Review/checking/approval of designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures
- Preparation of risk assessments and full compliance with DfS
- Coordination of work undertaken by external sub-contractors and design checkers and Client management

To succeed in this position, we believe that you should have excellent communication and rapport building skills.
Furthermore, you shall have:
- Sound understanding of DfS Regulations, specifically the designer's requirements and the risk assessment process
- Ability to manage own time
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ideally, you will have experience in ERSS designing of underground MRT station
- Ability to manage small projects
- Ability to interface with other disciplines
