Summary of the role
GlobalSign is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Sales/Solutions Engineering team. This position is the primary technical resource for the GlobalSign APAC sales force. The individual will play a critical role in establishing credibility and confidence with GlobalSign’s customers, by demonstrating and proving GlobalSign’s value through its products and services. The ideal person for this role should be a true team player that has strong interpersonal skills and is very comfortable with a collaborative approach to problem solving. We are looking for a professional with a “solutions mind-set”, a great sense of humour, and a passion for managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working collaboratively with GlobalSign's APAC sales team you will serve as the key technical adviser and advocate for our products. Successful candidates must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users to assure complete customer satisfaction and relationships through all stages of the sales process for assigned accounts.

Job responsibilities and accountabilities
Primary Responsibilities
•Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
•Presenting the product to customers and at external events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
•Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
•Assist sales with building business cases for new opportunities
•Develop a strong working relationship with the customer’s technical staff and be able to gain their trust and credibility through his/her deep technical know-how and subject matter expertise
•Work closely with customer to align the technical requirements and the solution design with their business drivers
•Able to assist in responding to technical elements of RFP/Q/I and technical architecture solutions
•Support customer integration/testing to GlobalSign Application Programming Interfaces (API)
•Support and Run Pilots and POCs to drive/test specific use-cases internally as well as in front of customers
•Document technical process flows and help discover existing PKI flows
•Test complex technical/PKI concepts to add value to GlobalSign’s existing portfolio
•Work with the Professional Services team to assist in initial production set up of solutions for customers
•Assist/ Participate in developing content / demos for webinars, presentations, tradeshows
•Travel as required
Secondary Responsibilities (Optional):
•Creating ‘Solution’ guides
•Support GlobalSign product development in terms of writing product requirements documents, working with development team, testing product/ product features/ integrations and support user guides.

Qualifications, skills, knowledge & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable due to experience or be in possession of Cybersecurity and IT Certifications (i.e. Comptia, (ISC)2, GIAC, etc.)
- Customer focus mindset with general interest in technology
- Good experience with Information Technology space
- Working knowledge on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts. Preferably hands-on experience on some PKI products.
- Good understanding of information security related products/services and/or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn/assimilate GlobalSign solutions.
- Basic understanding Windows environment especially Active Directory, Windows Servers/Desktops, Command Prompt, Virtual Machine set-up, etc.
- Basic Understanding of knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization and with frequent onboarding of new customers and partners
- Strong presentation as well as communication skills and being able to communicate professionally in written responses through emails, RFPs, and reports.
- Organized and analytical with a strong ability to find solutions for technical obstacles in the sales process through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Must respect deadlines and quality deliverables (SOW, responses to RFP etc.). Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment a must
- Strong communication and writing skills: Mandarin Language Required
- Any other South-East Asian Languages is a plus point
