About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Application Support Engineer to join the Valina Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background to provide technical helpdesk support and design automation test scripts for SaaS applications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide technical helpdesk support for SaaS applications to address service concerns and resolve technical problems.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and work with support team and SMEs, when necessary, to ensure minimal disruption to user operations.

- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using web automation tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test strategies

- Provide guidance and support to the team on automation experience and knowledge.

- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and continuously improve the testing process.

- Willing to do manual testing on an as-needed basis.

Job Requirements:

- Well-versed in programming languages (eg, PHP, HTML 5, JavaScript, MySQL, XML)

- Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (eg, AWS, Azure).

- Experience in web automation tools (eg, Selenium, Appium).

- Having knowledge of automation testing software like Cerberus, Cypress, Playwright, etc. will be advantageous.

- Experience in the Life Science industry will be a plus.
