REQUIRED SKILL-SET and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare Material Take offs, design calculation, project scheduling, equipment proposal, technical submission and drawing.

· Tracking and updating status of submitted documents.

· Coordinate, monitor & execute site activities.

· Prepare Progress Reports and Claims.

· Prepare Method Statement, Risk Assessments, Safe work procedure for various installation works.

· Maintain ISO documentation & records.

· Procurement, receiving & checking of items/equipment/services.

· Oversees equipment installation works, resolving problems and upholding safety management.

· Strict compliance with company and authorities’ practices, policies, rules and regulations.

· Liaise with clients/sub-contractors/project team, for their needs and requirements.

· Attend all site / progress meetings.

· Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

· Singaporean/PR/EP/S-Pass

Software Engineer (Devices)

Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering; Design and develop software applications for embedded devices
• Implement and optimize communication protocols to establish secure and reliable connections between embedded devices and on-premises/cloud platforms
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting of embedded devices to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, connectivity, performance and reliability
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification etc
• Assist day-to-day application support issues; Liaise with users on the requirement testing and production issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Computing, Computer Science, Technology or relevant with experience in at least one full Software Development Lifecycle
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in object-oriented software development with experience in C++ on Embedded platforms (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Embedded Linux)
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, and designing software using object-oriented software design and UML modelling
• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial/USB communication
• Prior experience in Scrum Agile methodology process is a plus; Develop and integrate embedded devices with cloud platforms

Expected Function

• ·Able to understand, create, and amend drawings/ models in BIM software independently.
• Develop, prepare and maintain different disciplines/trades quality digital models with detailing and documentation, over different phases in the project lifecycle, including coordination activities with different stakeholders.
• Ability to perform quality control checks on project digital models with software and assist stakeholders in resolving inconsistencies with the results. Extract information, such as quantities and discrepancies to support other project-related activities.
• Conform to the timeline assigned for all project-related tasks and ensure timely deliverables, including preparing digital and hardcopy formats for distribution.
• Able to generate required information from the BIM software.
• Liaise & Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Work closely with Project Manager & project teams to ensure drawings/models are as per site requirements.
