The PLC/SCADA Engineer is expected to develop software programs in accordance to project requirements. He/she is also required to ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and other regulations where applicable. This also include evaluating the process efficiency, quality and safety of the completed programs. He/she needs to perform internal testing, Factory Acceptance Test/Site Acceptance Test with customer/end user, testing and commissioning with complete handover documents.

Requirements:

• Experienced in PLC/SCADA/HMI
• Proficiency in Wonderware ArchestrA SCADA system, WINCC, iFix and TIA Portal
• Knowledge with Automation and Control engineering
• Liaise with customer on project related issues
• Update the Project Progress Report regularly to superior
• Handle stress and work overtime to meet project deadline
• Good time management and keep project documentation in good order
• Possess good analytical and communications skills
• Work independently and with minimum guidance as well as a good team player

Responsibilities:

Planning, coordination, and execution of substation automation projects.

Design, costing and integration of substation automation systems according to project requirements.

Installation, testing and troubleshooting of substation automation systems at site.

Preparation of project documents and drawings.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering

Knowledge of data communication and Automation Systems for Electrical Network
