As a Service Engineer, you have to attend to equipment fault at customers’ premises. Liaise with the customer and sub-contractors regarding all aspect on the add-on project activities. Monitor the progress of the work done closely in order to ensure that the schedule and quality of work are met. Also to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on time as per schedule for site installation or rectification of fault. To carry out periodic maintenance for our customers.

You should possess a Diploma in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years’ hands-on experience in troubleshooting of card access systems, alarm systems, CCTV, etc. With good interpersonal communication skills and a valid Class 3 license. Stand-by duty is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering enhancements and continuous improvements to ERP and other backend systems
• Transpose user needs into technical programming
• Integrates Microsoft Dynamics-NAV/ Business Central with various platforms like e-Commerce, POS, etc
• Work with Application Manager and System Analysts to meet business requirements
• Source Code and version control
• Develop test plans and cases, as well as, the technical and functional documentations according to the adopted methodologies.
• Participate in Microsoft Dynamics-NAV upgrade programming, data migration and user testing

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or other similar discipline
• Passionate in programming and detail-oriented
• Adaptable and flexible to work independently and in teams
• Minimally 2 years of programming experience in Navision C/SIDE, Transact-SQL is a must
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics-NAV/ Business Central
• Additional work experience in various program languages like Oracle PL/SQL, Java, C++ will be advantageous

• Managing daily activities on the site.

This position involves applying knowledge in engineering and science to design & develop scale up processes in the laboratory and future production of our aerogel line of products. Successful candidate will be given a fulfilling role to work in the company’s state of the art platform technology, ASPIRe. As a valuable member of the team, you will be involved in every aspect of the development from infancy to the implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Assist CTO and research team in the daily running of aerogel product development and research.

● Design and develop the pilot process plant for upscale production.

● Develop product testing protocols and procedures based on product specifications to test and determine the full operating profiles.

● Run diagnostics equipment, generate reports, trend analysis, develop design of experiments.

● Design and develop new aerogel formulations and improve early stage formulation with our proprietary process for commercial application

● Work with potential customers for pilot trials and improve existing aerogel product to achieve customer specification

● Optimise aerogel fabrication methods and test equipment for aerogel production

● Define experiments and determine meaningful data to support evaluation and technical decision

● Perform material characterisation studies such as thermal conductivity and mechanical property tests

● Stay up to date with scientific literature/patent, brainstorm new ideas with founders and contribute to the intellectual property of the company

● Source and evaluate new raw materials for formulation

● Prepare progress update and presentations for customers and investors

● Production of sample batch in lab scale and pilot scale.

● Responsible for effective technology transfer and upscaling to commercial scale batches

● Work closely with other departments to validate manufacturing methods for production scale batches.

● Train production personnel on manufacturing processes.

● Trouble-shooting in the process matrix for routine production.

● Maintain and document quality records with regards to processing units and machinery.

● To establish and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices for all commercial projects.

Requirements

● Have a Bachelors / Masters in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field

● Hands on experience in laboratory research and knowledge of different characterization equipment is a plus

● Have knowledge on process design software such as CHEMCAD, CHEMPRO, AspenPlus and/or other related software.

● Have a good knowledge of industrial processes and best practices in chemical plants.

● Have a good knowledge in HVAC systems

● Self-directed learner, ambitious with desire to succeed and positive attitude towards learning

● Experience in coatings/paint would be advantageous.

● Good knowledge of chemical handling.

Job Scope for Electrical Technician

Position Overview:

An Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in various settings. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring diagrams, safety protocols, and technical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring & lighting
• Knowledge to troubleshoot, circuit breakers, fuses, and electrical panels.
• Perform inspections of electrical systems and components and rectification work
• Follow strict safety procedures and protocols.
• Practise lockout/tagout procedures to safely isolate electrical power.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical technology preferred.

• Plan and execute corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and plant equipment to ensure good efficiency and availability. Generate equipment and facilities related records/reports/ documentations on above activities.
• Implement TPM strategy. Responsible for tracking machinery spare parts usage, maintaining adequate quantity, critical parts requirement, spare parts management, continuous improvement, and ISO audits.
• Support EHSS related topics, ensure site is in full compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Security regulation and policy.
• Resolve various equipment performance issues internally before approaching equipment vendor. Review equipment log and technician feedback for quick solutions.
• Liaise and co-ordinate jobs to be performed by contractors for facilities and plant equipment. Ensure work completion and achieve high standard of work.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings for equipment troubleshooting with at least 3 years hand-on experience
• Evaluate existing/new contractors’ performance and negotiate with them on quotations and service level.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience in mixer and milling equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge in TMP, Equipment FMEA is an advantage.
• Knowledge in facilities maintenance (Electrical, water, AC) is an advantage.
• EHS competence, familiar with ISO45001 & ISO14000 is a plus.
