Job Responsibilities:

(A) Job Summary:

The Interface Engineer (C&S) is responsible for managing and coordinating all technical and design interfaces between multiple stakeholders in a civil and structural engineering context. He/She ensures seamless collaboration, resolves conflicts, and facilitates efficient communication across disciplines, contractors, and project teams to meet project goals.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Interface Engineer (C&S) is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Interface Management

• Identify, track, and manage all interfaces between civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines (e.g., M&E, architectural).
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of design and construction activities.
• Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan to document processes and responsibilities.

Technical Coordination

• Review design drawings, specifications, and reports to identify potential clashes or conflicts.
• Facilitate clash resolution and ensure all interface issues are addressed promptly.
• Ensure that all designs are aligned with project requirements, codes, and standards.

Communication and Collaboration

• Act as the primary point of contact for interface-related discussions between internal and external parties.
• Organize and lead interface coordination meetings to align stakeholders on project deliverables and timelines.
• Document and track the status of interface issues and resolutions.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure all interface activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and projectspecific guidelines.
• Monitor project progress to verify that interfaces are completed according to schedule and quality standards.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks associated with design or construction interfaces and develop mitigation strategies.

Reporting

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in interface management or coordination within civil & structural projects, preferably in large scale infrastructure or construction.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide mechanical engineering design

The Utility cum Site Engineer is responsible for managing facility / utilities improvement of projects, equipment modifications & upgrades, troubleshooting as well as application related work.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Utility cum Site Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Involve in site utilities diversion work.
• Plan, schedule and manage of all aspect of utilities coordination related works.
• Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, including but not limited to design consultants/engineers, other departments, project representatives from clients, statutory / authority agencies, etc., to set the requirements for work deliverables and engineering works that must be submitted.
• Manage and monitor progress, quality of workmanship and ensure that it complies with authority requirements.
• Highlight any discrepancies and advise the staff on the interfacing of utility services and related works.
• Coordination with other disciplines to guarantee that designs meet other infrastructure requirements.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
• Utilizes project management skills and concepts to execute technical projects with an interdisciplinary project team, from planning stage to realization and start-up.
• Provides technical expertise in the daily operations of the unit.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the coordination with utility agencies for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
