Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced M365 Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, configuring, managing, and operating our M365 tenant and workloads. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Configuration:

· Deploy and configure M365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, Windows 10/11 Deployment and Intune.

· Implement security and compliance policies to ensure data classification and compliance.

· Conduct Proof of Concept (POC), new product evaluations and fitment.

· Configure and manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions.

Management and Operation:

· Monitor and maintain the health and performance of M365 services.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 services and applications.

· Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

Collaboration and Support:

· Work closely with other IT teams to integrate M365 services with existing systems and applications.

· Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

· Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize M365 services.

Continuous Improvement:

· Stay up-to-date with the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and productivity.

· Participate in the planning and lead execution of M365-related projects and initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or other relevant certifications.

· Proven experience in setting up, configuring, managing, and operating M365 tenant and workloads.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, Windows 10/11 Deployment and Intune.

· Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.

· Experience with hybrid M365 environments and integration with on-premises systems.

· Familiarity with security and compliance features in M365, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

· Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and related identity management solutions.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Internal Controls Assessment – Conduct reviews of internal controls to ensure they comply with JSOX (Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements. This involves evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of control mechanisms, identifying any gaps or weaknesses, and recommending improvements. Additionally, ensure that all processes and procedures align with regulatory standards and best practices to mitigate risks and enhance operational integrity.
• Reporting and Documentation – Prepare detailed reports and documentation for risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Compliance Program Management – Manage compliance programs, ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory and internal standards.
• Risk Assessment Coordination – Actively coordinate and conduct detailed risk assessments across various operational activities, ensuring potential risks are identified and mitigated effectively.
• Lessons Learned Maintenance – Maintain and update a comprehensive database of lessons learned from past projects, facilitating continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Pre-requisites:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Prior compliance audit / Risk Management experience is preferred
• Self-motivated individual with a high level of integrity, drive and sense of urgency
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently across different businesses units with different stakeholders
• Meticulous and mature with strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
