Opportunity Overview

• Resolve escalated customer support cases by collaborating with regional support engineers, MiR R&D and external partners.
• Establish a close collaboration with the call center team based in Cebu, Philippines. Ensuring their competencies are improved over time and as new MiR products are released.
• Review open support cases and distribute them in the global support team
• Resolve cases according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Review and approve hardware return and replacement requests (RMA)
• Escalate any new observations to closest manager according to SOP.
• Escalate new product issues and feature requests.
• Keep up to date on all assigned cases according to SOP
• Support R&D (E.g. Coordinate testing and release of new/reworked software and hardware with R&D)
• Support Application team (E.g Wi-Fi analysis and reports)
• Technical guidance and review of documentation in collaboration with Tech Comm.
• Training and support of regional support engineers and call center team via documentation, webinars and on-site training.
• Training of partners and end-customers in the MiR Singapore office or on-site.
• Maintenance and repair of robot set up in the MiR Singapore office.
• Prepare and perform robot demos and presentations in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management at the MiR Singapore office.
• Review and discuss the performance of the MiR call center team with their management.
• Ensure up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the MiR call center team.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance support and review areas of manufacturing operations, product development, or field/ product quality.
• Ensure that facilities, equipment, materials, processes and product readiness comply with cGMP practices.
• Serve as Quality representative on project teams for reviewing the new product design transfers and/ or line transfers.
• Review and align manufacturing operational activities, such as Work instructions, Device History Records, Nonconformances, CAPA, RMA, and customer complaint investigations.
• Identify and drive resolution of quality issues in Quality Management System and/ or manufacturing operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
• Trend, analyze and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements and escalate to supervisor/ management as necessary.
• Participate in customer complaints and work closely with cross-functional teams to investigation issue and ensure timely response to corporate/ customer.
• Work in accordance with procedures and integrated program plans to achieve and maintain the required level of product quality in preparation for FDA and ISO third party audits.
• Support product risk management activities and ensure quality and completeness of project design history files, validation packages, and change orders
• Review verification and engineering study reports and identify gaps for GMP compliance. Develop and execute strategies to close gaps in an efficient, technical, and compliant manner
• Coordinate issue resolution using a risk-based approach

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and/ or process validation in a regulated environment. Fresh graduates can be considered.
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent field is preferred.
• Experience in the medical devices / IVD / biotech / pharmaceutical industry, or instrument hardware / software integration is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Familiar with words processing, spreadsheets and presentation tools.
• Familiar with failure investigation, technical report writing, data mining, trend analysis and statistical analysis.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting demands

We’re searching for a ISEP Senior Engineer to be part of our Facilities Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to provide support pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety to wafer fabrication for the company

What you will be working on:

• Familiar with WSH Act, Fire Safety Act and ISO 45001, ISO14001, SS651 so as to ensure compliance to these requirements, including Statutory Equipment & Licenses.
• Ensure that the EHS Management Systems are implemented, maintained, and compliant with all applicable local legislation.
• Ensure safety case implementation and mitigative measures for Safety-Critical Events (SCE) in Major Hazard Industries (MHI).
• Develop, maintain, and periodically test emergency response plans, conduct CERT audits, and lead emergency drills including training, maintain procedure and implement all the requirement.
• Compliance with regulatory and permit/ licenses requirements, through Monitoring & Measurement and standard, work to ensure proper management and accurate reporting.
• Implement of EHS programs to improve awareness and performance towards established goals actively.
• Manage EHS incidents and non-conformance investigations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are tracked and closed.
• Schedule and coordinate EHS related meeting, inspection and audit (External / Internal)
• Manage, schedule and coordinate EHS trainings including training and revision of training materials.
• Manage EHS reports, EHS bulletin/Alerts Manage and other communications
• Revise and write EHS procedures and work instructions.
• Manage work permit system and contractors management.

More about you:

• Minimum Diploma / Bachelor in Science or Engineering in Environmental, Chemical or equivalent
• Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety regulations, ISO45001, ISO14001 and SS651
• Certificates in EHS Internal Auditing (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SS651) will be significantly advantageous
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and Fire Safety Manager
