Job Responsibilities

Evaluation & Assessment

• Provide screening, identification, formal or informal assessments for students with speech, language, communication and feeding needs.
• Identify and prioritise goals for intervention in collaboration with the student/family/caregiver and multidisciplinary team
• Formulate care plans that are outcome based and relevant to students’ goals through planning, implementing, evaluating and managing interventions
• Measure outcomes of treatment and conduct continuous evaluation
• Recommend appropriate alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) devices as necessary
• Collaborate with the parents, teachers and the other allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary support to the students

Intervention

UWCSEA Dover has a full-time vacancy for August 2024 for an English Teacher in the High School (Grades 9 - 12). The successful applicant will have experience teaching English literature and/or english language at a senior high school level.
