Experience, Qualifications and Training Requirements:

• Has been registered with ECDA and attained a L2 certification
• Have either of the following:
• Diploma in Pre-school Education - Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T), or its equivalent recognised by ECDA for K1/K2 teachers;
• Bachelor Degree in Pre-school Education

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Demonstrate good active communicative skills
• Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices
• Ability to work well with children and families
• Is familiar of government regulations, quality assurance framework (Child Care Act and Regulation, SPARK etc.)

• Develop lesson materials and provide feedback to help students achieve visible improvement in academic results

Qualifications:

• Local or prominent university graduates in the relevant fields

Job Scope

• Planning and delivering lessons: Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the preschool curriculum.
• Monitoring progress: Track and report on children's progress and development.
• Classroom management: Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Routine care: Perform daily care duties to ensure children's safety and hygiene.
• Parent communication: Maintain strong relationships with parents and provide regular updates.
• Collaboration: Work with other teaching staff to fulfill duties and organize center events.

The requirements include:

• Educational qualifications: A diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Certifications: ECDA-approved certifications such as ACEY, ACECCE, or DPT.
• Experience: At least one year of relevant experience in a preschool environment.
• Language proficiency: Proof of English language proficiency.
