- 5 day | 7am - 7pm Rotate shift
- Salary : Basic $3000 - $4500 + AWS + Performance Bonus
- Work location : Islandwide Singapore (Yishun, AMK, Buangkok, Punggol, Sengkang, etc.)
- Requirement : L2 from ECDA
Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Malay Language Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where young children can develop their language skills. The teacher will use creative teaching methods to introduce basic concepts of the Malay language and promote language acquisition, communication, and literacy through interactive activities, songs, and games.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Malay Language
- Conduct engaging lessons to teach the Malay language, focusing on basic vocabulary, phonics, sentence structures, and conversation.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, songs, games, and role-playing to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
- Ensure lessons are age-appropriate and cater to the developmental needs of young children.
Create a Positive Learning Environment
- Foster a supportive and welcoming classroom where children feel encouraged to speak, listen, and engage in conversations in Malay.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Develop and prepare lesson plans that align with the preschool’s curriculum and early childhood education standards.
- Adapt lesson content to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with varying levels of language proficiency.
Assessment and Progress Tracking
- Observe and assess children’s progress in language development.
- Keep records of student performance and provide regular feedback to parents and school management.
- Identify any language barriers and work with other educators or support staff to help children overcome these challenges.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and order in the classroom while encouraging positive behavior and social skills.
- Manage classroom activities, transitions, and routines effectively to ensure a smooth flow of daily activities.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Malay language, both spoken and written.
