This job is extremely tough as you need to be under the hot sun and be in the pool with the students for demonstration, safety reasons, command, and control. It requires loads of traveling from condo to condo. Handling kid's emotional changes, during the class, as your pre-training plan will need to be changed drastically to plan ad-hoc. Adults students too, as there are a lot of adults out there still unable to swim.

As we are building a team of new Swimming Instructors. You have to forsake some time for Quality training and senior Instructors for live class attachments. We wouldn’t sabotage ourselves and throw you onto the battlefield without proper training and live stages.

We don’t need Competitive Swimmers as our Swim Instructors. As our comprehensive training, we can train anyone from a non-swimmer to clear the local Swim Safer 2.0 Gold standard within the first month of training. Within a year or less, you will be required to clear the UK program that requires you to swim 400m in 8 minutes as part of the Swim school requirements. Yes, you are not wrong! It’s a tradition for us, just like clearing the N.S. IPPT. We want you to be proud of your achievement and able to do the same for all our students.

The teacher will also be responsible for developing the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn. The assigned teacher will need to record observations and summarise the children’s development and maintain cordial relationships with the parents.

At Taekwondo Masters Academy, we specialise in Taekwondo classes catering to kids as young as 3-years-old, in both Poomsae (Pattern), and Kyorugi (Sparring) trainings. Job Scope

• Teaching : creating lesson plans, leading classes, demonstrating techniques, and providing instruction on grade-appropriate Poomsae and Kyorugi techniques
• Evaluating : providing feedback for children's improvement, and assessing children's progress.
• Encouraging : Fostering discipline and respect, and encouraging students to use techniques properly. Build a community with parents to promote children's growth.
• Organizing : Leading events like tournaments, workshops, and gradings
• Promoting : Promoting classes and lecturing to parents, companies, and the public
• Managing : Maintaining student records and inventory of uniforms, belts, and guards.
• Any other tasks that might be delegated by the Grandmaster.

Requirements

• Minimum 3rd Dan Black Belt
• Experience in coaching children between 3-16years for at least 3 years
• Poomsae Coach certified
• Kyorugi Coach certified
• National/International referee certifications will be an added advantage
• First-Aid course certified (Singapore) will be an added advantage
• Willing to work weekends (with rest days on weekdays)
