• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties.
• To undertake other related duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education / Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Certifications in Early Childhood Care Education (DPT/CPT/DPL/ACEY)
• Para Educators or Educators - Possess Fundamentals or Certificate in Preschool teaching
• First Aid Certification will be an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching in a childcare/preschool
• High tolerance threshold towards children
• Passionate in teaching
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement creative, interactive lessons tailored to preschoolers, focused on building Chinese language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).

• Individualized Attention: Assess students’ individual needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly to help each child progress at their own pace.

• Parent Engagement: Regularly update parents on their child’s progress, celebrating achievements and discussing areas for growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff to foster a cohesive and supportive school culture.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching Chinese language to preschool-aged children (preferred).
• Certification: ECDA certified teacher in category [L1/L2/EY1/EY2]
