Job Responsibilities:-

* Plan and deliver curriculum through facilitating authentic, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children.

* Design learning spaces, outdoor & indoor materials, documentation according to children's needs and developmental appropriate.

* Daily interactions with children to help them build a reliable, safe and strong relationships for their development (Relationship based approach)

* Establish partnerships by communicating with parents and colleagues proactively in children's best interests (Fortnightly updates for parents and semester portfolio for children)

* Attend meetings and participate in school events.

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Early Childhood and Education - Teaching (English) / Diploma in Education or its equivalent.

- Candidates who hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education

- Certified L2/L1 with ECDA

- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a local preschool setting

- Proficient in MS Office

- Able to work well independently and as a team

Responsibilities:

• Come up with lesson plans and create classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of activities and lessons.
• Engage parents actively, in providing updates on their children’s development, establish two-way and regular communication through various modes eg face-to-face, e-mails, parent portal and forms of written communication.
• Partner fellow team mates in the centre and work together on shared goals to establish LSH as a high quality preschool provider.

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the education field. Familiarity with the British and American curriculum is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should possess qualities such as perseverance, dedication, and flexibility.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and daytime during peak periods.

Work Schedule:

• Five or six working days per week, based on candidate availability.
• Operation hours: 09:00 to 20:00

Teaching duties

• Teach subjects assigned by the school, mainly teaching in English/Mathematics/Sciences.
• Demonstrate through collaboration, planning and teaching, the IB and PYP framework of concepts within contexts, and inquiry-based learning that is balanced with specific skills of ‘how to learn’, leading learning towards the IB vision and the aims of individual subject areas and that incorporates interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
• Work and collaborate with Student Support Department to enrich curriculum and student learning.
• To differentiate and target learning to students’ needs and aptitude levels.
• Be culturally and linguistically responsive and proactive.

Non-teaching duties:

• Understand and implement the expectations and policies established by HWA.
• Participate in professional duties as necessary outside of the scope of the school day (e.g. Field trips, professional development on weekends as needed, and after school meetings as required).
• Supervise duties at break/lunch and/or other unstructured times.
• Lead/coach an after school CCA (co-curricular activity).
• Assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs.
• Provide any other reasonable duties delegated by the School.
• Contribute to school continuous improvement by being a member of assigned committee or work group.
• Responsible for homeroom teacher duties if assigned.
