Job Purpose

• Use 1:1 and small group support strategies, resources and programmes
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support tasks as directed by the Head of Dept and AP Student Success
• Assess and feedback suggested next steps for each student supported through 1:1 and small group tasks, to the Head of Dept and relevant grade level teachers via the Learning Diary

Communication

• Communicate with teaching and administrative staff, and students effectively, respectfully and in a timely manner
• Report to the AP Student Success any matters related to child safeguarding, Health and Safety, discipline or personal concerns

Collaboration and Relationship Management

• Work collaboratively and purposefully with assigned teachers and other Teaching Assistants
• Support teachers with the organisation and management of the students as a class, in groups or individually whilst promoting high standards of behaviour and discipline
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with the AP Student Success as part of a team that supports the academic, social and emotional development of each child

Self-Evaluation and Quality Assurance

• Participate in the school’s evaluation process as a reflective practitioner and use this as an opportunity for professional growth

English Language Teacher

Working Day: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend
Working Hour: Weekdays: 10.30am - 7.30pm ; Weekends: 8.45am - 6.30pm
Salary: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English language composition writing and English language lessons in accordance with the Company's guidelines and framework to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Mark students' scripts in accordance with the Company's guidelines and rubrics
• Ensure marked scripts are returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and cater to students' educational needs in a timely manner.
• Be actively involved in the planning and preparation of curriculum and innovation of teaching methodology.
• To provide timely feedback to parents and address their concerns appropriately.
• To be tasked with 12 classes of various levels (Primary 1 - Secondary 4)

Qualifications:

• NIE Trained Teachers or teachers with at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in established enrichment centers.
• Familiar with the latest MOE syllabus and examination requirements
• Possess at least a Diploma in Education/Teaching or Bachelor’s Degree
  (any field).
• Prior experience in teaching English language creative writing is an advantage.
