UWCSEA is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of High School Physical Education and Sports Science to join our Dover Campus in August 2025.

The successful candidate must have a tertiary qualification in relevant subjects and a recognised teaching qualification, with successful experience teaching secondary physical education. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a coherent campus-wide direction for EAL as part of the student support team in line with College strategy.

The K-12 Head of EAL will also hold responsibility for leading and teaching EAL in High School (grades 9-12). Person Specifications

• A relevant degree in teaching Japanese Language, a professional teaching qualification or certification from an accredited institution are essential.
• 3 ­- 5 years teaching experience, teaching Japanese to middle school aged students (11-­14 year olds) preferably in international schools.

The appointee will ideally be able to teach IBDP Economics, our bespoke UWC Economics course which is designed for grade 9 and 10 students, and potentially IBDP Business Management at UWCSEA East Campus. Experience and enthusiasm for teaching the IB Diploma Theory of Knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.
