Our center, which receives referrals from SG Enable and hospitals, specializes in early intervention programs for children aged 2 to 6 years old who are diagnosed or suspected of having mild to moderate autism spectrum disorders (ASD), global developmental delay, and/or intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to maximize the developmental potential of these children.

The children participate in 3-hour sessions twice a week. Our multi-disciplinary team, consisting of teachers, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists, collaborates to set specific, measurable goals for each child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The IEP focuses on six domains: fine motor, gross motor, adaptive, cognitive, social communication, and social skills.

Position: Teacher Aide

Responsibilities:

• Prepare teaching resources as directed by classroom teachers.
• Assist classroom teachers in providing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment.
• Assist with attendance-taking and roll call at arrival times.
• Keep the classroom neat, tidy, and organized for children’s learning during intervention hours.
• Support teachers with preparation tasks as needed (e.g., setting up schedule boards, work areas, or tasks).
• Perform classroom duties as required by classroom teachers.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the children’s sector is an advantage but not required.
• GCE N Levels or equivalent.
