Overview

We are looking to employ a qualified ESL teacher to provide English language lessons to students from different backgrounds and cultures. The ESL teacher will be responsible for planning lessons and activities, adopting a creative approach, and encouraging and motivating students to learn.

Key areas of responsibility

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant qualifications and certification in special education and relevant experience working within a school setting.
• Relevant experience in the interpretation and reporting on psychoeducational assessments.
• Deep knowledge of developing individual education/learning plans to include: creating individual goals, measurement, and evaluation.
• Experience working with international students and families with a deep working knowledge of the importance of culturally responsive practice.
