Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily classroom operations.
• Prepare lessons and class administrative duties (e.g., maintaining the communication booklet, attendance record keeping, etc.).
• Monitor and supervise students.
• Assist in carrying out special duties (e.g., inside/outside classroom, weekly & termly duties, community events, roadshows, etc.).
• Maintain, adhere to and be up-to-date with Company policies, systems & processes, and SOPs.

• Strong passion for teaching children.

Contract Period: From 1 Jul 2024 to 31 Dec 2025.

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30min lunch break

Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30min lunch break

Scope of Services

• We're seeking two dedicated Teacher Aides to support various departments at school.
• Teacher Aide 1 will assist in English Language (EL), Chinese Language (CL), Malay Language (ML), and Tamil Language (TL) departments.
• Teacher Aide 2 will support Science (SC), Mathematics (MA), Character & Citizenship Education (CCE), Physical Education, Art and Music (PAM), and Info-Comm Technology (ICT) departments.

Departmental & Level Work

• Assist in creating teaching/learning resources.
• Maintain and organize teaching/learning materials.
• Handle filing, typing, and printing of worksheets and notes.
• Prepare department/level certificates.
• Scan optical answer sheets and input student grades into databases.
• Compile department/level surveys and statistics.
• Maintain department/level notice boards.
• Decorate the school for special functions and celebrations.

Teaching & Learning Activities

• Provide classroom support to teachers.
• Assist in group activities.
• Support students with special needs or those who need additional help.
• Participate in out-of-school learning activities, like educational trips.

Other Duties

• Update student attendance records in School Cockpit.
• Assist with administrative tasks in the General Office.
• Carry out safety and security duties as assigned by School Management.
• Fulfill any other tasks assigned by School Management.

Qualification, Skill & Experience

• Previous experience in an office environment performing administrative tasks is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an educational or childcare setting, preferably as a Teacher Aide in a local government primary school.
• Candidates may be asked to undergo an interview.
