We are looking for highly passionate and responsible teachers to join our learning centre as Business and Economics teachers. The successful candidate shall be tasked to deliver lessons in an engaging and dynamic manner, based on our curriculum and pedagogy, as well as establish relationships with our students to inspire loyalty and learning progress.

Responsibilities:

• Execute lesson plans for IGCSE and IBDP level Business and/or Economics lessons.
• Develop lesson materials and provide feedback to help students achieve visible improvement in academic results.
• Assist in curriculum development and review of academic curriculums.
• Engage students and help them realise their potential.
• Provide regular reports on student performance.
• Provide extra academic support when required.
• The setting of assessment papers and assignments (question papers, resit papers and answer keys).

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching Business and Economics at IGCSE and IBDP levels.
• Familiar with IGCSE or International Baccalaureate curricula.
• Relevant and recent experience as a classroom teacher
• Bachelor’s degree majoring in related disciplines, Master's degree an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Highly motivated, good working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• At least 3 years of experience in teaching related subjects.
• Experience in teaching in a multilingual environment and academic assessment.
• Able to conduct online lessons using Zoom etc, and familiar with software applications and productivity tools.

SPED TEACHER AIDE

The Teacher Aide supports teacher in empowering students to reach their fullest potential.

To develop our students holistically, the Teacher Aides support the Teachers in many aspects of our students learning such as classroom teaching, outdoor learning activities, performing & visual arts programme, public performances, camps, overseas trips, enrichment programme.

Responsibilities:

1. Assists in classroom teaching, supervising pupils and managing student behavior.

2. Assists in preparing classroom teaching aids / equipment and materials.

3. Assists and coaches pupils entrusted in their care during classroom instruction, recess, school events, out-of-school hour outings and ad-hoc activities

Requirements:

1. Minimum qualifications:

a. GCE “O” level qualifications with credit in English and Mathematics; or

b. Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy; or

c. NITEC qualification; or

d. Partial GCE “A” Level qualifications

2. Relevant experience in special needs school or in the field of education is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach small class sizes of up to 10 students.
• Conduct engaging and enriching English lessons, with structured materials written by our in-house Curriculum experts.
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment, embodying a growth mindset to guide and nurture students.
• Meticulously mark and return students’ work on time. Keep track of their performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
• Build rapport with parents and update them on their child’s academic and personal progress.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year experience teaching English and/or writing in a school or learning centre.
• A Degree from a reputable university, preferably in related fields of Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Communications.
• Excellent academic track record, particularly in English and General Paper (GP).
• Passionate about teaching English and writing to primary and secondary school students.
• Willing to develop skills and implement strategies to teach and support students of differing levels and competencies.

• Good interpersonal and communications skills to effectively engage all stakeholders.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Able to teach and mark effectively, managing the weekly workload of your assigned classes.
• Able to commit to classes until the end of the academic year (in December).
• Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and number of classes contracted for.
