JOB REQUIREMENT

1) Bachelor Degree, equivalent or higher

2) Knowledge of Mandarin and English is essential for communication to all stakeholders

3) Basic IT knowledge is preferred, as we also conduct online lessons using online meeting applications (e.g., Tencent)

4) Highly responsible in their job

5) Patient and passionate in communicating with all students and parents

6) Eager and capable to learn and earnest

7) Weekend Work is required

PREFERRED CANDIDATE’S BACKGROUND

1) Possessing professional certificate relating to education industry

2) Having Singapore primary and/or secondary education experience

3) Certificate/diploma/degree offered by local Poly Technique or University

4) Obtain Grade B or higher score in O level English and Grade A or higher score in O Level Math or Science

5) Possessing 7.0 or higher score in IELTS

6) Capable of teaching other subjects besides English and Math

Job Description

• Position Title: Early Intervention Teacher
• Working Location: Paya Lebar
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri: 8am – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Study client’s behaviour and apply behavioral therapy principles.
• Develop individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance and track their progress.
• Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect student’s progress and goals.
• Manage a group of students of ratio 1:4-5 kids with other teachers in the class.
• Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in students’ behaviours.
• Become familiar with and use behavioural redirection techniques
• Know how to respond to negative behaviours appropriately.
• Provide written documentation on each student.
• Communicate progress with managers and parents.

TEACHER - INFOCOMM TECHNOLOGY

Work closely with teachers and IT support team to facilitate the teaching and learning of Info-Communications Technology (ICT) lessons for students in both academic and non-academic areas.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Identify and design support structures/strategies/resources.

• Provide technical support in Computer Labs and/or individual and small-group teaching that meets students’ learning needs.

• Design and develop lesson packages to support individual and small-group teaching.

• Monitor the effectiveness of teaching support provided for students regularly and recommend improvements to enhance students’ learning.

• Provide support to ICT department in its initiatives, projects, and assessments.

Requirements:

- At least Diploma or its equivalent in Information Technology.

- Teaching qualification attained from institutions, e.g., National Institute of Education (NIE), International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International Education or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is a must.

- Possess proficient knowledge and skills in MS Office, Computer Basics, Video/Audio editing, and Basic Programming.

- Relevant teaching experience.

- Resilient individual with a passion for working with students.

- Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Support HOD in the overall Department’s planning and managing of resources and its curriculum design and development.
• Be a role model and mentor to teachers/students to develop their capabilities.
• Provide career guidance to students.
• Design effective instructional materials to enhance students’ learning.
• Create conducive and industry-oriented learning environment.
• Establish positive partnerships with parents and community to enhance learning outcomes for students.

Requirements:

Basic

• Minimum Diploma in Community Care, Healthcare, Nursing or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Healthcare Assistant/Basic Care Assistant/Nursing Aide/Registered Nurse experience in hospital, nursing home or day care setting.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Advantageous

• Registered nurse experience.
• Qualification in ACTEP/PCTEWSQ ACTA/DACE.
