Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in DeltaV systems to support the commissioning, testing, and optimization of automation processes in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with GMP standards while driving efficient system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DeltaV automation systems to support manufacturing operations.
• Ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime of control systems.
• Lead the commissioning and testing of automation systems, ensuring readiness for operational use.
• Develop and execute protocols for FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ phases.
• Ensure automation systems comply with GMP, GAMP 5, and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as required.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis for automation issues and provide corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-7 years in automation, with a strong focus on DeltaV systems, commissioning, and validation.
• Skills:Proficient in DeltaV configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  Hands-on experience with validation processes (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ).
  Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
  

Responsibilities:

• Set up, deploy, and maintain systems and networks for project requirements.
• Develop technical proposals and deliver solutions within quality standards and deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance, expertise, and support in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments, system hardening, and VAPT activities.
• Conduct UAT for systems, storage, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Perform system and network hardening, VAPT tests, and recommend solutions.

Prerequisites:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with designing, setting up, hardening, and deploying Windows/Linux OS, storage solutions, and MSSQL servers.
• Proficiency with Huawei/Cisco switches, routers, FortiGate firewalls, NMS, and MFA software.
• Skilled in preparing documentation for system setup, deployment, and hardening per project requirements.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, hardening techniques, scripting, and related tools.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, Security+, or CISA are advantageous.
• Willing to provide support during off-hours for project-related system issues.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Minimum at least five years’ experience as an LAE capacity

2. A CAAS license or an Aircraft Maintenance License can be transferable to a CAAS license such as EASA, CASA, DCA, CAD or CAA.

3. Possess at least 2 B1 or B2 aircraft-type rating on A320, A330, A350, A380, B787, B777, B747, and/ or B737.

Qualifications

• Experience required 10 years minimum in an IT functional architecture position
• expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and MLOps.
• Knowledge of data management practices to clean, preprocess and transform data sets for model training
• Mastery of AI algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit, etc.)
• Knowledge of GEN AI and LLM technologies on the public Cloud using RAG patterns
• Understanding the ethical principles to better generate embeddings for GenAI.
• Expertise in Python, .NET or Java, DevOps / MLOps / LLMOps (GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud)
