Brief Job Description

Scope of work requested for the services is to provide system support (level 1/2) to manage Government agency servers. It includes the following:

1. Incident Management

a. Monitoring new incidents

b. Working on incidents assigned

c. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

d. Timely follow-up and closure of incidents

e. Updating and resolving incidents status in ITSM system

2. Service Request Fulfilment

a. Monitoring of new service request (SR)

b. Work on SR assigned

c. Setup and configure new systems

d. Hardening of OS and applications

e. Timely follow-up and closure of SR

f. Updating SR status in ITSM System and closure of SR

g. Updating Asset Management team on asset issued / returned

3. Monthly Patching

a. Patching of systems

b. Testing upon completion of patching

4. 24 x 7 standby support

a. 24 x 7 standby support and to go onsite as and when required

5. Daily health check / Escort vendor

a. Daily health check and submission of daily health check report

b. Escort vendor when request are raised

6. Other tasks

a. Conduct any other tasks as required of a system engineer role

6 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

6.1 The Contractor’s support personnel managing the servers must be trained and minimally be proficient in the following areas:

Windows Server

(a) The System Engineer shall minimally possess the following requirement:

(i) At least three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Server administration;

and

(ii) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA);

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overall Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Install new systems, machinery, or equipment at client sites, ensuring all components are set up according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Perform on-site commissioning to ensure systems are operating correctly, testing functionality, and providing training to customers on proper usage.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and machinery to extend operational life and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical failures to identify the root cause and provide effective solutions.
• Repair and replace faulty components, parts, and equipment to ensure systems are restored to peak performance.
• Provide on-site or remote technical support to customers experiencing issues with their equipment, offering clear instructions and guidance.
• Document all service-related activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used, into the company's service management system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or technical experts for more in-depth investigation.
• Act as a key liaison between the customer and the company, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, high-quality service.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships and ensure repeat business.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts, tools, and consumables required for service jobs, ensuring timely reordering and availability.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of tools and equipment to maintain their integrity and readiness for future tasks.
• Create detailed service reports documenting the service work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, parts replaced, and any customer feedback or recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as company standards.

Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Biomedical or Electronics & Computer Engineering
• Knowledge in Information Technology and/or a wide range of medical product
• 2 – 3 years of field experience in the medical industry would be an advantage
• Able to travel as and when required
• Able to perform shift and standby duties
• Good organizational and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and detailed-orientated
• Self-started and able to multitask

• Willing to learn clinical knowledge

Job Description

• Collaborate with project engineer and quality team to design, develop, implement and deploy test processes for new projects.
• Complete test programs for production and manage test programs and control:

- Continuity Test

- 4-Wire Continuity Test

- Functional/Final Test

• Support instrumentation needs including:

- Work with engineers and technicians in development of headers

- Testing jigs

• Develop Acceptance Test Plan per product requirements.
• Develop and document testing procedures per product requirements.
• Engage in both sustaining and NPI support activities
• Identify necessary enhancements to diagnostics deployed in manufacturing and works with quality teams to drive corrective action.
• Ensure headers have sufficient quantity to support the production needs.
• Engage in both sustaining and NPI support activities.
• Perform root cause analysis for any testing related failures.
• Perform other duties/projects as required or assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Electrical testing, Manufacturing, or similar roles.
• Strong background in testing principles, header & test jig development and processes.
• Design best-in-class performance testing approaches and plans for new projects per customer requirements.
• Must be well versed in electrical know how.
• Able to work well with inter-teams.
• Well versed in CIRIS tester will be an added advantage.
