Responsibilities
· Assess the company’s environmental impact, including energy consumption, waste management, and carbon emissions, and develop strategies to reduce negative impacts.
· Ensure compliance with relevant environmental laws and regulations and oversee environmental audits and reporting.
· Promote sustainable projects like green energy adoption, carbon footprint reduction, and circular economy practices.
· Ensure the company provides a safe and equitable work environment, implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
· Build positive relationships with local communities, ensuring a positive social impact through philanthropy, volunteering, and social investments.
· Ensure upstream and downstream suppliers adhere to social responsibility standards, such as labor rights and safety standards.
· Compliance Management: Monitor the corporate governance structure to ensure board and management decisions and actions comply with legal and ethical standards.
· Risk Management: Identify and manage ESG-related risks and establish measures to mitigate them.
· Transparency and Reporting: Regularly publish ESG reports, maintaining transparency in operations and reporting ESG performance to shareholders and stakeholders.
Requirements
· 10 years of work experience, with 5+ years relevant experience in ESG management, familiar with ESG-related standards and frameworks.
· Prior experience in corporate management or project management is preferred.
