Our data engineering team designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and architectures to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility across the organization. The team works collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize data integration, storage, and retrieval processes.

Essential Functions:

· In a group effort together with your team, you are shaping and designing our BI and data-architecture solution in the Cloud.

· You are developing data solutions with several platform technologies (e.g. Databricks, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).

· You are developing low-code solutions with Power Platform.

· You have comprehensive knowledge of DevOps principles.

· You are working on the development of our integrated data layer as the foundation of implementing data-driven analysis and reports using SQL and PySpark.

· You are supporting our development team in their selection and implementation of suitable data technologies.

· You are examining and evaluating new developments in the field of data technologies.

Skill Requirements:

· Successfully completed training or studies in the field of IT

· You have worked with databases or BI environments for more than 3 years, ETL/ELT experience with data integration and data processing.

· You are already experienced in working with different types of database technologies, scalable big data storage, preferable Azure Data Lake Storage.

· You are experienced in working with cloud technologies and cloud-based data-integration tools.

· Further to that, you are ideally familiar with agile project-processes (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) and you bring along some knowledge in Atlassian Suite (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo).

· You are solution-driven, proactive and a team player.

Job Description

• Responsible for the configuration, administration, monitoring and daily maintenance of enterprise-wide application such as Oracle, MS-SQL, Apache HTTPd, Apache Tomcat, JBoss , Websphere Application Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM-MQ.
• Interact with Software Development and infrastructure teams to implement application solutions and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Interact with software, network and infrastructure administrators to seamlessly solve technical issues.
• Troubleshooting web, middleware and database environments.
• Identify potential and real performance bottlenecks within web environments.
• Using troubleshooting methods to differentiate between an infrastructure or environment problem.
• Constantly update documentation as necessary to reflect system setup and environment.
• To handle escalation seamlessly to avoid any gaps that may arise to meet or exceed SLA.
• To utilise ITSM process and tool support.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Working experience in Linux and Windows system.
• Strong implementation and administrative skillsets for Linux and Windows
• Good knowledge of MS-SQL and open-source solutions such as JBoss, Docker containers and Kubernetes container orchestration
• Prior experience providing enterprise-wide on-premises systems support.
• Must be a Singaporean citizen due to G50 security clearance requirements by the client.
