Job Description

SepPure Technologies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Engineer to join our Applications Team in Singapore. The Research Engineer will work closely with the team to develop flatsheet and hollow fibre membranes for organic solvent nanofiltration applications. Job Description

• Co-ordinate with a team of technicians to provide on-site installation and support to customers for Electromechanical and Electrical wiring systems.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification Level: Advanced / Specialist / Management / Graduate Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic discipline
• Good command of spoken and written English and able to interact assertively and confidently with customers is a requirement.
• Knowledge and experience in Electrical Power distribution systems are advantages.

• Establish MLOps / LLMOps infrastructure: Define and implement a robust MLOps architecture to ensure the full life cycle of AI and Generative AI models from design to production. • Contribute to realisation of Rest API and development in Python, industrialisation of internal POCs and maintenance of embeddings. Ensure necessary documentation and support handover processes

Qualifications

• Experience required 2 to 7 years minimum in development of AI/ML technology solutions
• expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and MLOps.
• Knowledge of data management practices to clean, preprocess and transform data sets for model training
• Mastery of AI algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit, etc.)
• Knowledge of GEN AI and LLM technologies on the public Cloud using RAG patterns
• Understanding the ethical principles to better generate embeddings for GenAI.
• Expertise in Python, .NET or Java, DevOps / MLOps / LLMOps (GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker)

• Perform operation, installation, and monitoring of big data platforms
• Ensure the reliability and normal operation of multiple core systems for big data and online computing, resolving issues within the agreed SLA
• Evaluate infrastructure requirements for deployments and upgrade activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentations related to design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, DR, etc
• Ensures deployment and operations of the data platform comply with prevailing security, regulations and audit requirements

Requirements
• primary skillset: DevOps and system engineers in Unix
• Solid computer software basic knowledge; understand Linux operating system, storage, network IO and other related principles
• Familiar with one or more programming languages, such as Python/Go/Java/Shell/Ansible
• Experience with Cloudera, Informatica, or Denodo and its runtime components would be highly advantageous
• Relevant computing/distributed/big data system experience (Hadoop/HDFS/Kubernetes/Docker/OpenStack/Hadoop/Spark/Flin etc.)
• Good data structure and system design skills
• Good knowledge of information security
