RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research on tackling the research problems of SAR image recognition and object detection (semantic segmentation included).
• Develop the state-of-the-art algorithms of SAR image recognition models and publish papers.
• Implement the systematical toolbox using the trained SAR models.
• Demonstrate and visualize the research results in regular meetings with DSO Lab.

• Minimum Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in computer vision and deep learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as c++ and python is required.
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on pytorch and tensorflow.
• Excellent working knowledge of SAR image processing.
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
• Applicants with research publications in incremental learning, few-shot learning, and long-tailed image recognition topics will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.

• Identify and resolve problems with marine motors, auxiliary engines, steering systems, and other related components.
• Repair inboard and outboard engines, focusing on fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of all shipboard systems.

• At least 2 years of nautical maintenance and repair experience.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and marine service equipment.
