Writing Sprouts Language Arts School is seeking a free-lance, contract Business Support Officer to join the team.

To start the contract term immediately.

Main job scope of a Business Support Officer:

- Lesson worksheets printing and materials preparation

- Student enrolment admin

- supervise classroom cleanliness and common supplies are in order

- maintain basic cleanliness of common areas

- taking care of arrival and dismissal of students

- handling new customers’ basic enquiries and providing basic assistance to existing customers

- marketing and promotions related admin (to be able to help with social media posting and website posting will be a bonus)

Requirements

- good spoken and written English

- warm, pleasant personality

- love interacting with children, helpful and friendly towards parents

- be able to multi-task and meet deadlines

- sufficiently computer and tech savvy: using Google Drive, Microsoft, uploading photos etc

Plus point: able to understand and speak Mandarin

Work hours

• 18-24 hours a week
• Days and hours to be some weekday afternoons (2:30-7pm block), and Sat 8:30am-1pm.

Work location

Default at our Joo Chiat outlet. If needed at our Potong Pasir outlet on exceptional basis - will reimburse for transport.

Remuneration

• $15 to $20 per hour
• Contract term: a year, renewable
• Contract completion incentive: $500

The ideal candidate should possess the necessary experience in managing social media accounts and/or prior working experience in marketing.

Social Media

• Managing the Company’s social media account and ensuring all posts, comments & messages are in line with the Marketing team events calendar and updating of bio/IGS.
• Managing the social media contests, including verification of winner’s list eligibility, and obtaining approval for prize issuance.

Tenant Management

• Coordinate on the sending of welcome kit to new tenants and obtain relevant information such as logo, write up from them.
• Liaise with tenants on their shoutout of new promotions/launch.
• Coordinate with tenants on the reimbursement of e-vouchers issued and obtain approval to proceed on a monthly basis.

Others

• Assist in coordination work with partners/vendors/supplier and provide support for campaign related matters.
• Ensure that the building app, website, lobby screens, contacts list & tenant circular etc are updating accordingly.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good knowledge on social media platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Prior working experience in marketing is a plus

Candidate must be able to commit 3 months from May to July 2024.
