Position Overview:

The Technical Officer – Facilities Management is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of all facilities and building systems. Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

General Overview

This position reports to Supervisor (Marine Operations) and assisting him/her in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient ship-shore operations, inclusive of interfaces activities for JTJ, STS & FSRU and FSU services.

The incumbent will oversee the maintenance of marine equipment, monitoring the contractors appointed for marine activities and screen LNG ship for SLNG’s acceptance prior to ship arrival.

The incumbent shall also undertake the Loading Master function as required.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

• Responsible in preparing vessels berthing schedule & plans and communicate with all interested parties involved for ship-shore operations.

We are currently seeking a qualified and proactive WSH Safety Officer to oversee and enforce our company’s safety policies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with national safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve the health and safety plans, programmes, and procedures in the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
• Identify OHS-related training needs in the company.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace accidents and compile report findings.
• Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
• Active in maintaining ISO Standards

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety or other relevant subjects.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a WSH Officer in the process & construction industry.
• Must be a registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower.
• Familiar with safety documentation and audits.
• Independent and able to work in a team.

• To support timely response to employees’ enquiries on logistics matters.
• To assist supervisors with periodic audit checks and preparation of audit reports.
• To meet the quality service standards and customer satisfaction ratings as stipulated by the Authority.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Management or A-Level/ITE Certificate with relevant logistics experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software/applications (e.g. Excel)

Work alongside building security and maintenance staff to ensure SGS facilities and grounds are clean and safe. Oversee all aspects of building functions and ensures the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. Have high multitasking and organizational abilities.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
• Maintain equipment, building provisions as well as security and fire systems to meet health and safety requirements
• Maintain utilities and maintenance schedules
• Organize, plan and coordinate facility refurbishments
• Communicate and liaise with appointed building management agent, landlord, external contractors, vendors and relevant authorities
• Delegate and supervise cleaning and maintenance responsibilities of contractors and vendors
• Run routine maintenance inspections of facility and designated carpark lots
• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
• Prepare and implement cost estimates, budgets and timeframes of scheduled or ad hoc facilities projects
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Support maintenance and installation works as needed including scheduled and unscheduled building power shutdowns
• Coordinate and manage all company vehicle related matters
• Respond to all building related emergencies
• Assist in fire evacuation drills.
• Assist in any other facility related activity that may arise from time to time

Requirements:

• Diploma in Facility management or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and other building systems with mechanical and plumbing skills
• Valid Class 3 driving license
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in similar facility operation & maintenance environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles

• Be part of Technical team responsible for maintaining and ensuring the serviceability of all systems and equipment
• technically proficient in all aspects of maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting the full range of ICC systems and equipment
