Job Description:

• Experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Ensure month-end and yearly closing deadline are met and compliance to local rule and regulation.
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts payables and Accounts receivable.
• Prepare Quarterly GST Submissions on time.
• Liaise with Commercial Department on projects invoicing & Work in progress.
• Assist in yearly audit, handle audit queries.
• Assist to verify staff claims for reimbursement.
• Prepare and analyse project budget and forecast reports.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide the required support to the auditors.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Hold a Bachelor degree in accountancy/ finance or equivalent.
• IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Compliance in the enhancement of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing ("AML") control measures to build a more robust AML framework for the Bank
• To review/conduct customer due diligence/end to end evaluation of new and existing customers (including post transaction review), ensuring that they comply with the Bank’s AML/CFT/Sanctions requirements
• Reviewing and assessing alerts from money laundering risk through transaction monitoring systems and liaising with business units as necessary to investigate the alerts
• To roll out enhancements to Compliance Department’s policies and procedures and also be proactive in pointing out areas of improvements to enhance the Bank’s systems, methodologies and process simplification
• To take charge of various bank-wide initiatives, AML assessments and reviews and ad-hoc projects led by Compliance Department
• Ensuring management is made aware of all pressing issues in a timely fashion
• Operating to the very highest levels of integrity at all times
• Maintaining appropriate audit trails and documentation in all instances
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Compliance from time to time.

Requirements

• Strong degree-level academic qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Compliance experience with familiarity of the relevant AML legal and regulatory requirements such as MAS Notice 626
• Demonstrable understanding of the financial market
• Good knowledge of products/services offered by a bank to clients
• Evidence of drive, curiosity, good judgment and good attention to detail
• Rigorous, well-organized with a structured and logical approach

Job scope and responsibilities

1. To carry out structural and civil works inspection progressively and proactively

2. Able to spot safety infringement or near misses on site and report to safety team on time

3. Experienced in structural steel inspection

4. Must be able to read and interpret structural plans and details

5. Willing to work night shift

6. A team player and possess good technical knowledges in structural concrrete and post-tensioning works

7. Able to draft simple daily reports, progress report and inspection reports.

Requirements:

• Registered RTO with valid certificate issued by BCA/ JAC (IES-ACES)
• Degree/diploma with specialization in a relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of working experience on site

The job:

• Adhere SOPs in established AR and credit control processes and perform the required data entry
• Adhere to established protocols for processing receipts and handling cash.
• Update email address for E-Invoice and E-SOA
• Upload invoice to portal eg. gov.sg
• Handle billing, collection, and reporting tasks within designated deadlines.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from customers/banker and sales teams.
• Undertake accounts reconciliation of receipts
• Timely month-end closing for accounts receivable function
• Monitor and ensure healthy AR ageing report
• Follow up with the collection for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Conduct monthly debtor meeting to discuss on the outstanding invoices with sales team
• Review new customer application and creation of account
• To prepare periodic reports and schedules
• Assist in annual Parts Stock take
• Assist in annual audits
• Other ad-hoc task assign

The person:

• Minimum - Diploma in Accountancy
• 2-3 years of general accounting experience. Industry experience in accounts payable and banking advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Attentive to details & accuracy.
