To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP to ensure that works are constructed to required quality and accuracy.
To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and ensure that the site programme is in accordance with the approved construction programme. Any deviations from the construction schedule shall be reported immediately to the Client, PM, SO, SOR and QP. In the event of delays, the Resident Technical Officer shall assist the contractors to mitigate delays but without comprising on the quality.
To ensure and maintain proper updated records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of works, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc and all other records as directed by Building Control Authorities.
To study the contract documents and drawings and verify if there are any discrepanciesamong the drawings. All discrepancies shall be brought to the attention of the Employer concerned.

To generate defects list, supervise and monitor progress of rectification works and ensure that all defects are rectified as per Employer’s advice.
To advise the Employer on the percentage of works completed for the purpose of verifying progress payment valuation, and to check contractor’s claims and variation orders.
To ensure that the contractors record accurately on drawings, the installation works on site. This is to ensure that the as-built drawings reflect accurately the work that has been done on site. Also to check against the Employer’s drawings and identify and highlight the changes of variation orders so that Employer can direct the contractor to finalise the as-built drawings and to maintain a set of updated drawings on site.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.
Continuously monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and product quality.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, plant operating procedures, and environmental regulations. Report any incidents or hazards immediately.
Work with process engineers and plant supervisors to optimize production processes and improve yield and energy efficiency.
Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for any maintenance or repair jobs.
Record, analyze, and report operational data, including machinery performance, production rates, and quality control results, to assist with performance reviews and decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to resolve technical issues and support plant improvements.

Job Description & Requirements
Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipments and operations
Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times
Requirements:
Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
