The Assistant Manager, Information System shall assist the Manager, Information System to plan, direct and oversee activities dealing with a company’s computer and information systems. He/She shall coordinate jobs related to the hardware, software and network that the business uses. He/she shall spearhead the establishment of cybersecurity system for local and regional facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Developing and overseeing the cybersecurity measures for the organization.
· Evaluating the organization’s IT needs and finding ways to improve the products and systems in place for
enhance productivity, security and efficiency.
· Recommending upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-
based investments for the organization.
· Scheduling and supervising IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, system updates and outages.
· Assist in managing IS team members, assisting in performance evaluation and offering guidance for
advancement within the company.
· Identifying opportunities for IT training and developing classes that will equip employees to make the best use of
the products and systems available.
Requirements :
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of work
knowledge in cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements, and end-user computing.
· Experience with conducting security risk assessments and incident management.
· Proficiency in maintaining and managing Microsoft technologies - Office 365, Active Directory (ADFS, DHCP, CA,
DNS, RMS), Exchange Service (O365).
· Good work knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security
Audit/log review), technical vulnerability management (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing),
application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response and
security assessment.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other cybersecurity credentials) are highly advantageous.
· Excellent project management skills and experience with budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
· Mandarin language is preferred to liaise with China counterparts and overseas vendors.
· Work experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
· Travelling up to 25% of the time is to be expected.
