As a Test Solutions Engineering NAND manager, you will coordinate a global team responsible for the development, debug and maintenance of test programs that help deliver Micron's world-class NAND portfolio to market. • Keep supply market data up to date. Ensure supply market analysis stays current. Maintain an understanding of who the best suppliers are; the niches they serve; new market entrants; etc.

Strategy Execution & Management

• Execute and maintain the commodity strategy. Report progress and results to management and partners on strategy initiatives and projects.
• Manage the world wide supply base in accordance with the commodity strategy.
• Evaluate changes in business requirements and conditions; update strategy accordingly.

Partner Management

• Provide partners with the highest quality products and services. Periodically survey partners to assess changing business or technology needs.

Strategic & Value-Based Sourcing

• Understands business needs and direction along with what is needed from the supply base. Collaborates with the Supplier Relationship Manager to understand the capability from our top suppliers. Work with them to identify, suggest, and implement sourcing opportunities that provide can provide new or additional value-add to the organization.

Supplier Collaboration

• Work with SRM’s to identify areas of opportunity to develop new or optimized business processes with suppliers as defined in your commodity strategy. These efficiencies between the two organizations could impact ‘total cost’, quality or other key areas.
