Job Description:
➤Provides front line support to distribution partners and dealers as necessary.
➤Establishes, cultivates, and maintains key relationships with distributors/OEMs.
➤Generates new sales and grow share of wallet for company products through distributors/OEMs.
➤Coordinate between Factory and distributors/OEMs and assist as required.
➤Other ad-hoc duty as required.
1. Customer Account Management (40%)
➤Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
➤Maintain and update customer records and account information.
➤Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
2. Sales Coordination
➤Assist in the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations and purchase order.
➤Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
➤Track and manage sales orders from confirmation to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Relationship Management
➤Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
4. Administrative Support
➤Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
➤Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and documentation.
➤Assist in the organization and coordination of sales meetings and events such as seminars and exhibitions.
5. Market Research& Analysis
➤Conduct market research to identify trends and potential opportunities.
➤Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
➤Provide recommendations based on research findings to support sales strategies.
➤To conform with company environmental practices.
➤Any other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
➤Min. diploma in any engineering related graduate.
➤Diploma/Degree in Marine/offshore or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
➤Min. 2 years and above sales/engineering experience in manufacturing/equipment industry is preferred.
Knowledge and skills
➤Basic knowledge for mechanical engineering is required.
➤Knowledge for vessel equipment such as engine, gearbox, propeller, thruster, and control & monitoring system is preferred.
➤Drawing interpretation skill is preferred.
➤Basic software skills such as Microsoft (excel, word, PPT) is required.
➤Good interpersonal communication skills and customer service
➤ Open to Business Trip (Once/Twice per month)
➤Minimum class 3 driver’s license is a plus.
➤Able to present ideas and negotiate with department manager and decision makers both internally and externally.
➤Results driven, strong will to compete and win in a business environment.
➤A good team player and enjoys interacting with people of all levels.
➤Set High Standards of Performance - Assume responsibility and accountability for successfully achieving goals or completing assignments; develop standards of excellence rather than waiting for standards to be imposed.
