The Courage Chapter has been engaged to conduct for a search for a Fundraising and Events Manager/Senior Manager for our client, a Non-Governmental Organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fundraising and Public Relations Manager/Senior Manager is a key contributor in achieving the annual fundraising target that enables the organisation’s overall goals to be met. The role helps to ensure that the organisation has a steady stream of revenue

generation initiatives including but not limited to fundraising events, online campaigns and grant writing. This role is expected to develop and implement fundraising strategies that are aligned to the organisation’s goals and objectives, working closely with the Executive Director to ensure that existing and new programmes are funded properly. This role shall also be expected to represent organisation at engagement sessions and build strong corporate partnerships. As part of the management team, this role shall also support Fundraising Committee meetings and take collective ownership for the successful management of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising & Donor Management

● Expand and grow the donor base including foundations, corporate donors, government grants and individual donors through leads generation, grant writing, relationship building and engagement in support of fundraising strategy defined in the year

● Pipeline management and timely and accurate updates of donors’ giving records in Salesforce system and/or any other systems as required

● Manage fundraising campaigns and events with the view to build long-term partnerships with individuals and corporates, and potential long-term volunteering relationships with corporate staff members

● Manage donor relationships including providing accurate and timely grant reporting, engagement of funders in CSR activities, donor appreciation etc

● Work closely with operations to develop effective pitches to raise funds, educating funders on impact funding

● Work closely with Executive Director and Finance to ensure that all restricted and non-restricted funds meet statutory requirements and organisational needs, including and not limited to Charities Act, AML and ATF

● Work closely with Finance and Accounts to ensure quotations, invoicing and tax deductible receipts are done in accordance to governance and compliance requirements

● Oversee the development of all Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with corporates and businesses that have expressed interest in raising funds for organisation

Public Relations and Events Management

● Work closely with the Communications team (manager/executive/agencies) and operations team in driving fundraising and communication activities to reach out to “cold

markets” and keep engagement strong with current donor base

● Strengthen donor relationship management by planning appreciation gestures including corporate mixers, appreciation luncheons, any event management and relationship building efforts with donors

● Represent organisation as a spokesperson at corporate, networking and fundraising events, social media and media engagements to advance company’s mission

● Engage corporates in poverty sensitization workshops and achieve the targeted number of paid engagements in the year

● Plan and execute annual fundraising and public events including International Women’s Day, Mother’s Day Carnival, Gala and Golf Fundraiser

General/Management

● Build capabilities in fundraising, donor and event management of the Fundraising team

● Highlight new or changing operational needs that require manpower, budgetary and strategic provisions to Head of Fundraising and Public Relations

● Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with the team internally and relevant external stakeholders to help achieve the goals of the organization

● Manage fundraising expense budget in accordance with charity regulations

● Oversee the performance reviews, training and upskilling of existing staff within the team in order that they would be able to fulfill their roles outlined in their job descriptions

● Analyse and report fundraising insights from existing fundraising initiatives

● Drive development and improvement of processes related to fundraising and impact reporting so that efficiency and productivity gains can be attained

● Supporting Head of Fundraising and Public Relations in reporting to the Fundraising Committee when required

Essential Responsibilities

· Event Strategy & Planning

Overview:
The Country Manager will lead the first AI driven travel agency's operations in the SEA country. The role involves overseeing strategic planning, team leadership, and customer service excellence while working closely with the IT Team to implement AI-driven projects. The Country Manager ensures smooth operations and technological innovation, driving growth and maintaining a competitive edge in the travel industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Regional Strategy and Business Development

• Develop and implement business strategies tailored to the unique needs of each region.
• Drive growth and market expansion across Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia.
• Build strategic partnerships with regional travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and local operators.

2. Technology and AI Integration

• Collaborate with the IT Team on AI projects, such as personalized customer experiences, operational automation, and data analytics.
• Lead the adoption of AI tools to optimize bookings, recommendations, and customer interactions.
• Align AI initiatives with regional market trends and operational needs.

3. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all regions, ensuring consistency in service quality and operational efficiency.
• Address regional challenges, adapting strategies to local regulations and customer preferences.
• Standardize processes while allowing for regional customization where necessary.

4. Financial and Performance Oversight

• Manage budgets and financial performance across regions, ensuring profitability and resource optimization.
• Analyze regional performance metrics and use AI-driven insights to inform decision-making.
• Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and improve operational cost management.

5. Leadership and Collaboration

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in business management or AI integration are preferred.

Experience:

• 7+ years in senior management roles within the travel or technology sector, with regional responsibilities.
• Experience working across Southeast Asia and China is highly desirable.
• Proven success in managing cross-regional teams and implementing tech-driven initiatives.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities across diverse markets.
• Proficiency in AI tools and technologies for operational and customer enhancements.
• Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, regulations, and customer preferences.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project execution, monitor site progress, and ensure on-time completion of the project
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the latest WSH Act at all time
• Evaluate and report to management on project progress
• Able to liaise with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities
• Help to set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team
• Identifying potential risks, performing risk analysis and planning risk mitigation strategies
• Controlling all construction operations, procurements, the quality of deliverables and project costs
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Ensure all deadlines are meet
• Perform other ad hoc duties given by management

Job Requirements

• Possesses at least a Degree or Diploma majored in Civil Engineering or related field
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related position
• Experience in HDB/MOH project
• Be a team player, independent, meticulous, diligent and organized with positive work attitude
• Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
