Objectives of this role

• Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
• Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
• Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.

Required skills and qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organising and prioritising tasks.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects in India and overseas.

• Responsible as Overall on site in-charge for property management services under the contract with the client
• Responsible for smooth building/facilities management operation including developing guidelines/SOP and advise Client with options available and best resolution based on requirements, Client practices and site circumstances
• Responsible for incident control, management, activation of rightful parties for incident response and timely reporting/escalation
• Responsible as Stie Main Controller (SMC) under CERT team setup
• Represent Client on Contractors’ safety compliance
• Responsible for maintenance and upgrading activities including power shutdown for High Tension/Low Tension HT/LT serving/genset load test, cyclical replacement works from planning, execution till defects closure
• Responsible to advise Client and make recommendation ensuring its maintenance regime by contractors is timely, appropriate and adequate and licenses renewal / authorities’ submission are in compliance with latest authorities’ requirements, Acts, Regulation, Singapore standards, Code of Practices
• Responsible for preparation of annual OPX/CAPEX Budget, its control and monitoring
• Liaison with Client Users, customers and Contractors.

Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience required:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical & Air-conditioning Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing similar facilities and data centre facilities, with three (3) years managerial roles in similar project scale and competent to handle key building infrastructure systems, and FM200, VESDA, CRAU, BMS
• Compulsory certification: bizSAFE Level 2, CERT training/ WSQ Respond to Fire & HazMat Emergency and WSQ Implement Incident Management Process.
• Additional qualifications of EMA Licensed electrical worker, BCA Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM), BCA Green Mark Professional (GMP). BCA Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM), Singapore certified Energy Manager, etc. will be highly desirable.

Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director for this business, the role will be responsible for new and existing business development within our client base.

The key measures of success in this role will be (but not limited to):

• Sourcing - be a key point of contact for the internal (HR) talent acquisition needs
• Lead Generation – drive activities, events, meetings for the purpose of networking and generating leads that are commercial important for the business
• Key Account Management – we partner with most top brands with their recruitment needs for the Singapore market so this role will be responsible for managing some of these key relationships
• Team Management – if you are someone with a passion to lead a sales business, this role will have the opportunity to manage a team of 1-4 people in the next 6 months
