• The Assistant Director, Community and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of community services and youth mental health programmes. He/she will provide professional and operational oversight for clinical and social work components in CYMH.

• This position will supervise the Manager, Youth Development Centre (YDC) to ensure smooth planning and implementation of programmes for youths at the drop in centre, child access services and youth mental health programmes. This will include guiding staff and executing the pivoting of YDC from its current focus to professionally grounded youth mental health and developing the activities and programmes needed from scratch.

• This position will also provide professional supervision to develop and implement youth mental health programmes that are able to reach a broad spectrum of youths to build resilience as well as supervise the team to provide case management and basic level counselling/triage for low to moderate level of youth mental health concerns. Job Requirements:

• Qualification of a diploma or its equivalent in HR or related business fields.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR, preferably in a Generalist capacity.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and TimeSoft payroll software would be beneficial.

Dementia Singapore is seeking a creative and dynamic Senior Executive to help grow DementiaHub.SG – Singapore’s first one-stop resource portal on dementia. Dementia Hub is positioned as a community-facing resource platform providing credible informational support to persons with dementia, caregivers, care practitioners and the community to navigate through the dementia journey and bring about a more dementia-inclusive society.

In this role, you play an active and pivotal role to write and publish useful content and continuously improve the quality of resources and interactive experience of the portal. You will be responsible for helping the team to build a stronger online presence through the creation and dissemination of high-quality content to captivate and engage readers who have been impacted by dementia.

Job Responsibilities

• Write, proofread, and publish articles for the website, research/evaluation reports, and other resources covering the latest developments in dementia care and research. This would include evidence-based practices, innovative research tools, and techniques, all contributing to the resource portal.
• Proactively identify and explore emerging topics within communities impacted by dementia to ideate and deliver refreshing new content themes to support these communities.
• Partner with key collaborators and stakeholders to co-author articles and create dementia-related resources. This involves both strategic planning and the production of content that addresses the needs of the dementia care community.
• Manage administrative tasks, which includes documenting the notes of meetings, managing project schedules, coordination of project activities, monitoring and documenting the services provided, and billing.
• Provide research support for projects including literature review, conducting of focus groups, interviews and surveys, data analysis, and interpretation of findings.
• Assist in the preparation of evaluation/research reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Hons / Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Gerontology or Health-related fields with at least 3 years of relevant working experience of similar role.
• Strong written communication skills, including academic and report writing.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience in data collection for qualitative research studies preferred.
• Positive self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
