THE JOB:

Department of Computer Science is recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants for Semester 2 of Academic Year 2024/2025!

A Teaching Assistantship is an excellent starting point for a career in academic teaching. Teaching Assistants gain teaching experience during graduate studies, which is welcomed by future employers in academia and beyond. A limited number of positions are available for both current Teaching Assistants wishing re-appointment, and new appointments.

Who may apply?

• Senior PhD students who are doing well in research and who have good part-time teaching records may apply for new appointments.
• PhD students should discuss with their supervisors before applying.
• Undergraduate and Master’s students who plan to continue their studies at SoC as a PhD student with the Department, and have obtained a Honors (Highest Distinction) or Honors (Distinction) may also apply.
• We accept any computing-related degree (e.g. Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, etc).

Secretarial Responsibilities

• Access and schedule calendar and manage appointment (meeting, lunch & dinner)
• Assist outstation matter including seeking Management approval, informing relevant parties, booking of air ticket, booking of accommodation, land transportation, VISA application include rules and regulation.
• Prepare and submit expense claim
• Attend meeting with Top Management, prepare meeting material, meeting report, preparing minutes of meeting and follow up closely with department head on item instructed.
• Assist on documents filing.
• Booking and arranging restaurant as per requirement.
• Follow up on daily, weekly and monthly report with department head and ensure reports are submitted on-time.
• Gift arrangement for external / internal / HQ

Office Assistant Responsibilities

• Submission of departmental invoices (e.g. travel invoices, catering, name card and other services related invoices etc.)
• New Hires Arrangement: Ensure workstation is clean and tidy, request of laptop / desk phones, stationeries etc.
• Resignees: Provide assistances on their exit clearance
• Forward internal circular email to team(s), update of department’s seating plan, Fire warden role

Events Support

• Internal/ External events includes workshop, trainings, meetings and team luncheon/ dinner etc
• Logistic supports include booking of meeting rooms, request of visitor passes/IT items/IP address, preparing of table name tag etc, send signage artwork to GA, arrange of tea breaks, catering, ordering of mineral water etc

Ad-hoc Duties

• Any other ad-hoc admin matters as signed by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum in Diploma or equivalent experience in business administration, office management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role or office coordination.
• Experience with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency in conversing in Korean
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.) and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude in a dynamic work environment.

The Job :
Handle day-to-day functions by performing entry-level accounting duties, including AR/AP and other financial related duties
Updating of Data into the Accounting Software
Maintaining proper filing and documentation of records
Sending bill reminders and contacting customers on due invoices
Performing other ad-hoc assignments

ASSISTANT DESIGNER

As an Assistant Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the project team with design development, design coordination and documentation. You will also liaise and coordinate with external consultants and the client’s team and other relevant parties.

Requirements & Attributes:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in concept and design development;

• Experience in mixed-use and infrastructure projects will be an advantage

• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore (BOA) will be an advantage

• Other professional certifications such as GMP or GMFP will be an advantage

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in BIM (Revit Architecture)

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of wafer fab manufacturing equipment.
• Support the running of production in the module and ensure the readiness for production
• Maintain 6S practices in the Fab and maintenance support areas
• Participate and follow up on continuous improvement projects
• Provide clear and accurate pass down of line issues and documentation

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• No work experience required.
• Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• Work overtime during weekends and public holidays
