Purpose of the job:

Part of the Financial Reporting Team to produce timely financial statements that are consistent across the ST Engineering Group and in accordance with group policies and financial accounting standards.

Key job Accountabilities:

• Accountable for all financial and management reporting requirements of a portfolio of entities
• Supervise a team of co-workers to achieve financial excellence, including the following: 1) timely and accurate monthly reporting and submission of financial results; 2) transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, accounting standards, and group polices; 3) proper cost allocation for line of business reporting; 4) reconciliations of intercompany balances/transactions and key accounts are performed and reviewed; 5) preparation of harmonized set of statutory accounts for all entities within the ST Engineering Group
• Engage with business partners / management on financial results review
• Manage and lead harmonization and automation projects to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency of accounting processes
• Coordinate closely with other shared service teams and business partners on procedures and accounting matters
• Liaise with external/internal auditors
• Support business partners on financial information/reporting
• Provide guidance and training to a team of co-workers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications
• Chartered Accountant will be an advantage
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in Big 4 audit firm
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements
• Good interpersonal skills – able to engage with co-workers from various work teams/levels

To support Care & Counselling Department in their areas of responsibilities such as case management, administrative duties and support groups.

Responsibilities:

1. Clinical and Case Management:

• Assist with case management after cases are screened by MSWs.
• Follow up with care arrangement and post discharge referrals.
• Explaining long term care schemes such as Home Caregiving Grant, Pioneer Generation Disability Assistance Scheme, Careshield Life etc. to patients and NOKs.
• Conducting home visits as instructed by MSWs.
• Managing cases referred by AMKH Day Rehab Centre for ATF applications and to be the point of contact for referrals of MSW services.
• Facilitating means testing for inpatient as well as patients attending dialysis at AMK-THKH Dialysis Centre.
• Accompanying patients for admission assessment for institution placement or centre-based services, and to other organizations to facilitate discharge planning.

2. Professional Development:

• Engaging in continual learning through regular case discussions, supervision and trainings (internal and external).

3. Programme Development:

• Assisting in preparing support groups i.e. admin and logistical support.

4. Administrative:

Job Description:

Cash and Liquidity Management

• Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring and analysing cash flows, bank account balances, and liquidity requirements.
• Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and variance analysis to ensure optimal cash utilization.
• Execute intercompany fund transfers and maintain accurate records of treasury transactions.
• Monitor compliance with internal treasury policies and procedures.

Bank Maintenance and Relationship

• Assist in the administration of banking documentation and ensure records are up to date.
• Support the opening, closing, and maintenance of corporate bank accounts.
• Coordinate with banks to resolve operational issues and inquiries.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly treasury reports, including cash flow summaries, cash balances, debt reports, and hedging effectiveness analysis.
• Maintain and update treasury-related documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Intercompany Transactions

• Support the management of intercompany funding arrangements, including loans and advances.
• Ensure timely reconciliation and settlement of intercompany balances.
• Maintain detailed records and liaise with Tax and Legal to ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and timely update of intercompany agreements.

Debt and Financing Management

• Assist to track and maintain proper records of the company’s debt portfolio, including loan agreements, covenants and payment schedules.
• Support in the preparation of reports for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain good relations and ensure timely communication with Agent and Lenders.

Risk Management and Hedging:

• Support the execution and tracking of hedging transactions (e.g., FX, interest rate swaps) in accordance with corporate policies.
• Maintain and update financial instrument records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Insurance Policy Administration:

• As part of financial risk management, to assist in the renewal, review, and administration of corporate insurance policies, ensuring timely submission of documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of claims, premiums, and coverage details.
• Liaise with insurance brokers, underwriters, and internal departments to address policy-related queries and claims.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
