We seek candidates with expertise in design with foundations in decarbonized & planet-positive futures, warming world futures, social justice, and inclusive futures, with a particular focus on being situated in the tropical geographies of Southeast Asia and the equator. Candidate research should be manifested through a robust portfolio of creative practice outputs and substantiated through forms of peer review and public and societal engagement, with evidence of leading with anticipatory and future-forward design ideas that impact evolving society and the profession. We are especially interested in candidates who are leaders in Research by Design methods in the academy and who leverage creative practice to imagine and manifest a more just world.

Corporate Relationship Development

• Establish corporate contacts through a systematic outreach process, follow up on new business projects generation opportunities, maintain working relationships and set up meetings
• Pitch initiatives to corporates, specifically in positioning and securing business projects for our respective MSc programmes
• Scope the business projects with the company, establish an understanding of the objectives, guidelines for workload, deliverables, resources and financial support

Administration of Management Practicum

• Coordinate coaching workshops/classes to prepare students for their undertaking of business projects
• Work with Heads of Departments in appointing project supervisors, including briefing faculty advisors on the role, responsibilities and scope of projects

• Obtain the necessary approvals from the academic departments and the MSc Programmes Office

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant in the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator (Assoc. Professor Peter Goon) and other study team members to ensure the successful completion of their research studies (Virus-associated cancers with emphases on pre-cancer detection, host immunology, virology, and potential treatments, Skin cancers and drug reactions) on time. The RA’s principal role will be to work in general practices such as recruitment, data collection, laboratory experiments, data entry and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in hospital to smooth the process of recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

1. Oversee the general management of the project;
2. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the project, such as organizing regular meetings to maintain regular communication with other members of the research team and collaborate with the study sites;
