Our client is a leading player in its industry, keen to hire an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, internal controls and taxation for a local portfolio.
Requirements
- Accounting degree qualified, Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Big 4 experience can be helpful
- MNC exposure – focusing on financial & statutory reporting, consolidation, taxation, internal controls, etc
- MUST: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driven, self-starter, energetic, confident in engaging with senior and international stakeholders, hands-on and proactive
- Able to do well in a fluid and unstructured environment, willing to roll up sleeves to get things done, navigating spreadsheets (ability to be hands-on is highly important)
Budget
Circa S$9,000 – 10,000 per month + Bonus
Job Scope
As an individual contributor and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial and statutory reporting, consolidation, internal controls and taxation for Singapore local portfolio. You will ensure financial reporting requirements are met on a timely and accurate manner, drive improvement in financial control policies and procedures, and support in financial year end close process. You will also manage external audits, compliance reports, and support the Tax team in tax compliance requirements and special purpose audits.
The successful candidate is someone agile and adaptable, able to navigate a dynamic business and organization structure, and willing to roll up sleeves to get things done. Ability to be hands-on is highly essential.
