RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate

1. To render full secretariat support, including reception duties, mailing, filing, liaising with vendors on maintenance of office equipment and procuring office supplies.
2. Manage, respond to or redirect inquiries received through the SLA mail, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
3. To assist to coordinate meetings and events organized by respective corporate and industry committees.
4. To maintain the claims, prepare payment vouchers, handle all receipts, banking and furnish such records to the SLA appointed accountant and auditor.
5. To implement and comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
6. Prepare presentation slides, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for relevant committees and working groups.

Membership

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of membership services, including member onboarding, renewals, and inquiries.
2. Maintain and update the membership database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
4. Coordinate member engagement activities, including networking events, workshops, and webinars.

Industry Development:

1. Assist in the development and execution of industry development programmes and initiatives.
2. Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and stakeholders to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
3. Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and challenges to support programmes and initiatives development.
4. To coordinate participation of SLA delegates in international events.

Communications:

1. Assist in content creation, design and distribution for social media platforms, newsletters, website updates, annual reports and marketing materials.
2. Support event planning and coordination, including preparing promotional materials, managing logistics, and providing on-site assistance.

1. Provide administrative assistance, including managing communication calendars, support internal communications initiatives, and monitor media coverages.

• Scrutinize information in the PR from Production Departments to ensure fast and smooth interaction with subcontractors
• Handle any additional Claims or Contract Variations from subcontractors
• Keep abreast of subcontracting news in the market on current market pricing and Trends
• Evaluate and assess subcontractors and their facilities, in the form of audit, if required for outsourcing work
• Verify details submitted in subcontractors’ invoices in accordance with Works Order
• Assess and advise the Sub-Contracting Manager of any recommendation by Production Department to list or delist any Subcontractors
• Attend to any other matters related to subcontracting as and when delegated by the Sub-contracting Manager
• Compile database and update on new sub-con short list, latest man-hour rate and cost comparison

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration working in marine shipyard or with commerical experiences

We are an innovative education company looking for an Assistant Manager/Executive to join our team for managing the delivery of ongoing programs and help in the roll-out of new education programs. As a key resource in the program management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of education programs and ensuring that the programs are completed in budget and on-schedule.

This is a dynamic role and the responsibilities will include;

Managing Existing Programs

- Track program enrolment and assist with any queries related to the enrolment process.

- Assist with the booking of venues and facilities for the programs.

- Coordinate with various vendors for materials and supplies related to the program and ensure timely deliveries

- Oversee the program execution, including manage the temp staff hired during program execution.

- Analyse and present feedback data from the programs conducted.

Business Development for New Programs

- Work with the program design team to understand the details of program content and delivery methods.

- Develop information materials related to the programs.

- Conduct outreach activities for existing and new groups of clients (mainly education institutions).

The candidate attributes should include;

- Prior experience in managing events/programs or conferences.

- Good communication skills

- Good interpersonal skills

Education – Preferably a Diploma and above

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for full sets of Accounts
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements
• Prepare financial statements, payments, AR billings, journals, monthly schedules, bank statement reconciliations, staff reimbursements, GST submission etc.
• Prepare management reports i.e. project analytics, revenue, costs, cash flows, AP, AR, Related Party Transactions reconciliation for group reporting & etc.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on billings, payments, reconciliations, audit, taxation matters
• Assist in banking matters, account opening, LC, insurance bond & etc.
• Assist in corporate secretarial activities
• Coordination for physical inventory and fixed assets count on an ad-hoc basis
• Responsible for statistical filing
• Hands-on and work with other team members for finance deliverables

Requirements

• Accounting Degree, Partial ACCA or other relevant qualifications
• Proficient in MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint & etc
• Good communication, organization and administration skills
• Hand-on experience in Navision accounting software is an advantage
• Experience in construction industry is an advantage
• Min 1 year of experience. We welcome Fresh graduates too

Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Recognised certification in human resource management

• At least 3 years experience in a SME environment

• Proficiency in the use of software applications

• Good spoken and written communication skills

• Reports directly to the Master Scheduler
• Coordinate production workflows in the shopfloor
• Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delay
• Plan a weekly machine loading plan and 3 months forecasted loading plan
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Recommend to Master Scheduler on deployment of workers and other staff to meet production and delivery requirements
• Recommend shift schedule to Master Scheduler accordingly to production needs
• Liaise with Purchasing and Suppliers for material deliveries and outsourcing schedules
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
• Address issues whenever they arise with the aim of minimal disruption
• Obtain output information (Number of finished products etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance
• Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Store, Engineering and other departments to ensure good production flow and coordination
• Manage and train the assistant planners and subordinates
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or further education/certificates is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principle
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin
• Willing to learn and be a team player
