2. Office Facilities Management

• Manage and supervise office cleaning staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Manage and supervise services such as air-conditioning maintenance, pest control, water dispenser servicing and liaise with building management for facility-related issues
• Coordinate fire drills and other safety measures
• Regularly review and update administration policies, including leisure programs

3. Event and Logistical Support

• Provide logistical support for Company Events, Operations Meetings, Internal Training Sessions and Social activities such as fitness programs, fruit days, marathons, annual Dinner & Dance
• Assist in office relocations, ensuring a smooth transition

4. Personal Assistant Duties

• Arrange travel logistics for senior management including flight bookings, hotel accommodations and visa applications
• Minutes taking and report collations on a weekly basis
• Manage the General Manager’s calendar, scheduling appointments and ensuring timely follow-ups
• Support the General Manager with ad-hoc projects as assigned

5. HQ Functional Departments Support

• Provide general administrative support to all HQ departments as needed
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in office administration, facilities management and/or HR
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Positive working attitute with high initiative and self-motivated mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Chinese to liaise with vendors and colleagues in Taiwan and Hong Kong offices.

JTC utilises geospatial data science and technology in its planning and processes geospatial data from various sources like drawings, surveys, LiDAR, satellite imaging, aerial photography and IoT sensors. This data empowers our users with detailed insights into industrial land and infrastructure.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join the Estate & Technical Support (ETSU) team. You will work with massive submission plans and survey information, translating them into spatial data. You’ll be asked to master data specifications, improve of processes for acquiring, cleaning, translating and loading spatial datasets, transform those datasets into normalized data models, and work with planning teams to ensure continuous quality improvements driven by the best available content.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and read submission (CAD/BIM) building plans, infrastructure projects and survey information related to JTC estates, analyse and digitalise the information into GIS databases;
• Ensure GIS dataquality and completeness;
• Evaluate new data sources for quality and attribution to support estate work requirements;
• Perform geospatial engineering tasks such data extraction, cleaning, transforming and preprocessing the data for analysis;
• Prepare plans from GIS databases to support planning decisions;
• Perform spatial queries and use geoprocessing tools;
• Regularly support the review of data and updating processes or changes, adjusting where necessary;
• Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, estate managers and surveyors on estate and land related matters;

Requirements:

• Background in Surveying, Built Environment, Planning, Architecture, IT, Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines, preferably with exposure to engineering CAD and GIS.
• 2+ years of experience with mapping or drafting tools. New graduates are welcome to apply;
• A pleasing personality, enjoy team settings and comfortable communicating with people;
• Ability to be meticulous and attention to detail;
• Able to self-organise and have good time management skills;
• The following experiences are advantageous:
  • Experience performing spatial operations, advanced queries, and joins in SQL;
  • Intermediate to advanced experience working with GIS databases;
  • Prior experience with ETL workflows;
  • Scripting in Python or equivalent languages;
  • Experience with 3D GIS / BIM
