Job Purpose
We are looking for a resourceful, creative and proactive Executive / Senior Executive to oversee the implementation of fundraising and marketing strategies for our overseas humanitarian initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple fundraising and marketing projects from conception to execution, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including fundraising, marketing, communications, and operations staff, to ensure the smooth implementation of strategies that support our global humanitarian goals.
Job Responsibilities
1. Project Management and Coordination:
○ Manage the day-to-day execution of fundraising and marketing projects focused on international humanitarian causes.
○ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
○ Coordinate with internal teams (fundraising, marketing, communications) and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
○ Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and adjust timelines as needed to meet deadlines and ensure success.
○ Address potential risks and obstacles in project implementation and proactively provide solutions.
2. Fundraising Campaigns Implementation:
○ Collaborate with the fundraising team to implement various fundraising campaigns, such as digital campaigns, donor outreach, corporate partnerships, and grant initiatives.
○ Ensure that fundraising projects are effectively aligned with the financial goals of the organization, monitoring fundraising campaigns and ensuring the efficient use of resources.
3. Marketing Campaign Execution:
○ Work closely with the marketing team to execute marketing strategies that raise awareness and build support for international humanitarian projects.
○ Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials such as social media content, donor reports, video content, and other collateral.
○ Ensure that all marketing campaigns are launched on time and follow the agreed-upon strategies and messaging.
○ Track the effectiveness of campaigns, adjusting execution tactics based on real-time feedback and data.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
○ Communicate effectively with overseas field teams to gather insights and ensure that marketing materials reflect on-the-ground realities and needs.
○ Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
○ Manage volunteers who are supporting the execution of campaigns
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
○ Collect, analyze, and report on the performance of fundraising and marketing projects to measure success and impact.
○ Provide detailed post-campaign analyses, identifying strengths and areas for improvement for future projects.
○ Create project documentation, including reports, presentations, and updates, for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
● Experience:
○ At least 2-4 years of experience in project management, particularly in fundraising, marketing, or communications for nonprofit or international organizations.
○ Experience working on international or overseas projects, particularly in humanitarian or development contexts, is strongly preferred.
○ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
○ Experience working with diverse teams and international stakeholders.
● Skills:
○ Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools
○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with a variety of stakeholders and cultures.
○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
○ Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
○ Solid understanding of fundraising and marketing principles, particularly for nonprofit or humanitarian causes.
○ Experience in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
○ Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate project performance and adjust tactics accordingly.
Other Requirements:
● Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support project implementation and collaborate with local teams.
